planning out an entire wedding down to cake tasting without meeting the person is just insane to me.
ABSOLUTE INSANITY.
Delusional
One born every minute.
Invitations are the best 🤣💀
desperate People do DESPERATE stuff.
Step one of planning a wedding: make sure the groom exists.
True😂
😂😂
Hahaha
Sage advice :-)
This is ‘in the box’ thinking.
If I told my mum I was planning a wedding for someone I never met she would have me check into a psychiatric hospital
Exactly where she belongs.
I really don't get how people can fall in love without even spend a single day with eachother, nevermind get married.
Mine too...after putting her foot up my A$$
😂
I would be put into a conservatorship and a straitjacket if i told my family i am marrying a person i have never met in person.
I hate to be rude but this woman and her whole family are nuts! Planning a wedding with a stranger??
Yes. I spoke to someone who got married through arrangement, but even the matchmakers in their country have the two meet at least once so they can see if they find each other attractive.
😂real talk 💯 I would have dragged my Mama by nostrils all the way to the crazy house 😵💫😵💫
People get desperate irrational, and the groom laughs all the way to the bank
It's not rude, it's a fact.
It's probably a good idea to see them at least 1 time in the flesh
I got married once (to a real guy) planning just a simple wedding was a nightmare
But to someone you never met????
Your brother works for the FBI, yet neither of your parents thought " there's definitely nothing odd about our daughter marrying a man she's never met and taking a home equity loan for him". How has this woman got this far in life?
He has a West African accent, yet she believed him to be Swedish.
EXACTLY!!! The voice doesn't match the face AT ALL!!!
And she still keeps his voice recording - STILL sort of believes the whole mirage is for real.
😂😂😂😂
And looks arab
That accent is so easy to spot a mile away. Every single one of them share the same exact voice it's UNCANNY
Okay. This is beyond. BEYOND. How this woman has survived to this age without walking off a cliff or keeping her mouth open in a rainstorm and drowning is a complete mystery.
You're too funny, lol
That line is funny I'm gonna use it 😅
😂😂😂
How in the world can parents support a Wedding for their child knowing that child has NEVER met the groom in person ??? WHO does that ! ! ! !
If I were her mother I would have stopped this instantly.
desperate parents :D
Maybe they were just happy to get rid of her and have someone else take her off their hands. Also, she's 'old' for an unmarried woman. Parents want their kids married, and her mother is getting on in years.
Parents who thinks the person is a millionaire 🙄
Maybe she never told them that she never met him physically.
"And then he sent me a picture of himself wearing a t-shirt that said 'I'M A SCAMMER' I told him he looked great and sent another $50,000."
Forgive me, but my empathy can only stretch so far.
A REAL LAUGH OUT LOUD
I can’t seem to find mine at all.
I’m so sorry but come on. Someone with multiple millions of dollars doesn’t have bank issues. The bank KNOWS them. If anything happened to the account, they would bend backwards to help them. And someone with multiple tens of millions of dollars wouldn’t have just one bank account. Or just one card. And IF they did have an issue, the would have colleagues, friends, or family to help with small amounts like $600 to loan them. They wouldnt have to ask some random middle class woman they barely know.
Edit: omg and they never even talked on the phone!!
This tickled meee!!😂😂😂
Yes I met somebody online too they said they worked in Santa’s shop in the north pole and they need to fix the heating system so they need to $50,000 for the repair of the heating system so I sent them the money but I had to send it to Nigeria for some reason but I really believe that I trust them lol🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔😂😂😂😂😂😂
My empathy is at a bar in Legos Nigeria laughing with the scammers.
Unbelievable that this woman has a family member in the FBI, and yet she still sent the scammer $100,000 without double-checking
Bingo. People just convince themselves don’t they ?

What reputable Pastor agrees to marry 2 people that have never even met?
This woman really needs therapy. Her FBI relative told her it was bogus passport. She had so many people telling her it was a scam and she still.kept sending him money.
Her parents kept pushing the delusion too, even when she was doing insane sh*t for someone she’s never met and everything the scammer is saying is obvious bs
Greed got the better of this woman's common sense..
A good looking guy with millions of dollars will do it every time. 🤔
@@christinecatt8039Greed and desperation... 😖
When her best friend warned her that the guy was a scammer, she says "my best friend at the time". This leads me to believe that she probably cut that friend out of her life so she could continue living in denial.
I caught that, too.
That happens way too often. I know one victim who has nothing anymore. She lost her home, she lost her friends, she lost her family, she even lost shared custody of her kids because her ex was able to show that she was an unfit parent if she would rather send money to a man she never met instead of using it to buy things her kids needed.
I warned an old friend about a guy who was obviously a total user (younger than herself, known to be a liar and a fantasist, with a bad track record with women) but he had her believe that I was "jealous" of their relationship (I was a lot older than both of them, happily married and with successful, well-educated adult children). They were together for 10 years, during which he fathered 2 children with two other women, he took everything from her and finally left her for someone who was earning more money. She is now listening to her friends a bit more.
@@ileanamuntean7338 Man the same happened to me. I warned my ex best friend about her bf who was married and he was just using her. She stopped hanging with me because he told her I was jealous of them and I secretly wanted her. Well he went back to his wife dumped her now my so called friend wants to be my friend again. I’m sure that there are plenty of great looking millionaires that fall in love on the net . Nope not a single one as they don’t need to .
She clearly really wanted to have a wedding and an experience, man or no man be damned.

Why not? When she's a strong and independent

Completely agreed. I would never understand how a grown up, mature person can decide to wed another person they have never seen in person??? It's immature, stupid and so delusional! I can't believe she is a teacher!?
I always find it weird when the victims talk about the scammers postponing "coming home", like girl, you have NEVER met this guy, he doesn’t live with you and never has, even if he was gonna visit you at some point (which is obviously never gonna happen) he wouldn’t be "coming home"… Maybe it’s just a language thing, I’m not American or English, so… But it definitely shows how invested these victims are into their love fantasies and they really do believe they’re real.
I feel the same way. It's bizarre
I dont get it either. I think the scammers spin such an elaberate web of lies that they hypmotise them. Thats the only thing i can think of
Coming home usually refers to coming back to one's homeland 👍
For me it is strange, too. "Baby, just come home..." 😮🤦🏻♀️ His home is in Africa.
This has crossed my mind too. The constant "bring him home" they all say, and all I can think is "you're not his home. He is at home. Scamming you." I think the scammers play on the weight of the word "home" to these women where it represents a life they will lead together.
He didn't steal 103,000, she gave it to him. SMH

It’s likely she did not share all of the facts with them but, still, they should have a questioned why she was marrying someone she had never met.
What is scariest to me is that this woman was a teacher!! A woman who planned an entire wedding to someone she had never met, is teaching our next generation. Yikes!
I realized long ago that I sent my kids to school to learn how to work and play in groups, socialize, and practice speaking in front of groups. I filled in the gaps and did damage control at home.
@@islandgal500 Good job! I raised my boys (now men) in a simpler time, but my parents were teachers & I remember hearing many conversations about the main stream curriculum & this was over 40 years ago!
A lot of the female victims are teachers, nurses and phycology grads. 🤷
To see her talk about how the authorities showed up to her school to talk about this scammer, And look, You can see on her face even how ridiculous she is to have put herself in this position, she is so proud and enjoyed the attention. It's like in her mind it's all still real and it never was fake. She's on this show, talking about it so that she can get the attention and She is just so dumb that she doesn't realize how dumb she's making herself out to be. I mean, I know it's a good thing for these victims to tell their story so it doesn't happen to other people, but that's not what she's doing it for. She's enjoying the attention. Well... here you go, Charlotte.
That's all you're gonna get is the attention and now - go back to work and make your payments. Maybe when mommy and daddy die they'll leave you tons of money.
Imagine how everyone she works with at the school thinks she's such a dummy.
It comes down to narcissism comma these victims think they're just so great that of course, these scammers really wanted them and were never scamming them, They're thinking i'm so great no one would ever scam me they really want me.

I have been targeted by scammers because of my age and widow status, however, I am wise enough to realize that love can come around again, but that is rare. So ladies be grateful that you once had love in your life, enjoy this season of life, and make sure you meet someone local, or in person, and never send money to a stranger.
I have fb but only to record my online games. My face is my dog nothing about where I live how old I am etc. Just my first and middle name
Never been scammed as they have NOTHING TO GRAB ME FOR. This poor woman she has all these warnings and still not listening..the bogus passport should have made her stop. Now she's 💰 laundering. These stories are so stupid I can't believe it!!!
Truer words were never spoken.
Very well said, back in 2008 when I was 32 years old I joined a dating site, I connected to a lady who was supposed to be from Maryland in America 🇺🇸 but she said she was currently in Nigeria 🇳🇬 , she even sent me photos of a blond lady that was meant to be her but of course I knew after it wasn't her in the end as she asked for money and of course I said no
I think this woman might be 68 as well. She's definitely not "early 50s"
You're stupefied by stupidity ,that's what it is stupidity....me too! They don't even want sex ! its childish fake compliments that they are paying for. The sort of fantasy romantic imagined ' love' that prepubescent girls dream of !!!!
I truly hope she apologises to her friend, who she clearly dumped when the friend tried to warn her about Mike the Scammer
Ive been single all my life by choice Ive gotten tired of being rejected by couple snobs and women who drop you the minute they find a man
The “friend” should block her. On everything.
@@Baddscorpio Exactly what I thought! Oh and I’m a Scorpio too! 😂
@@SashaMess we’re 👁 to 👁 on that!
Obviously her friend was jealous and trying to break up her wonderful relationship. /s
After being scammed like this, the woman said, ' I am 50 something but I don't feel that way. Age is but a number' This is a huge red flag. This is living in denial and refusing to see yourself objectively. If she saw in the mirror how the rest of the world saw her, she would see she is a school teacher who looks her age. A successful attractive man would hardly be interested.
They prob shouldn't online date anymore..... along with driving a car, babysitting children, operating the oven, and using sharp scissors!
And they definitely shouldn’t vote …
Her mother encouraged THIS? Her pastor co-worker supported her marrying someone she never met! What is this world coming to?
I feel bad for her mom. She doesn't deserve to be stressed out by something like this in her old age
I get headache when I think about their level of out of the world Brains... WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? WHERE DO THEY COME FROM?
@@sana_saint When people around you are like this, no wonder you fall for this.
@@sana_saint the mother sent the passport photos to the FBI relation, so she must have had plenty doubt. But, seems like she continued to play along.
Perhaps she’s always shielded her daughter from anything unpleasant, hence stunted her emotional maturity.
This same world has girls sleeping with random people they've only known for days
Soon as these women apply to a dating website and they put their age as 50+....a big pop up sign should come up with a warning...do not send money!
As well as do not go to Hangouts, WhatsApp, or the other one whose name slips my mind at the moment.
Do they not hear that African accent come on really. She was going to marry a man she never met omg and she's supposed to be intelligent. They believe every bit of crap they are told. No man asks a woman for money, people use your brain and stop giving all your money away to scammers.
There should be a warning on those sites....if you he writes you using these words....OIL RIG, QUEEN, BABE , Block him
@@patriciaporcaro8586 there are warnings on dating sites. You can read all that without joining a site.
I'm 52. I do online dating.
Local men ONLY, Meet within 7 data or blocked, and I have never given anyone a penny
I’m telling y’all, once dude calls you a “queen” it’s a wrap. Pack it up and count your losses.
Or have u eaten today 😂
This chick took out a HELOC to give $100,000 to some random dude. What am I doing?
I’m usually pretty forgiving of the vulnerable people in these episodes but planning a wedding to someone you’ve never met is just down right delusional.
I don’t understand how these people can hear these guy’s voices, and still reasonably believe that they are speaking to some manner of a European. A lot of this can be prevented with simple common sense.
All of these men sounds like they are from the African Continent.
I speak English, German, Spanish, some Blackfoot Indian, ( just some).
But these scammers are from India and Africa. The Indian men are the Amazon refund scam, Africans...romance scam.
SMH
Multiculturalism.
Knowing different accents from around the world isn’t “common sense”. You yourself may need to learn a few things before YOU get scammed..
Europe has so many languages etc. that accents are endless. I personally think Europe has the most diverse countries with many languages.
@@margaretr5701 nope it is colonialism. People are not dumb like americans .Outside amercica other contries speak at least 2 languages
I find interesting so many old ladies falling for scams that you would think only a teenager would fall for.
I had to come back to this to lift my spirits on a day I thought no one could be dumber than me.
This is nuts. This is so outrageous I cannot put it in words. To 'discard' a best friend at the time because she warned Charlotte is the dumbest move because she WANTED TO FORCE this relationship, this wedding. Well ... she paid for it dearly.
Her family tried to warn her too. Common sense too. Why would a business man who is set to make 14 million from a single job in Canada then end up in Cape Town working odd jobs at a dock while struggling to afford food and electricity? This woman wanted to live in a fantasy.
But my BF is just jealous of me because I’m marrying this rich guy!🤦🏻♂️
How the hell do you prepare for a marriage with someone you’ve never seen let alone met ? This is madness.
Its a loneliness epidemic spiraling out of control
Loneliness eventually gets to you.
And he proposed after 5 weeks of texting. Obviously, made for each other, fated, meant to be!
@British_vlogThe indians parents expect to see their sons/daughter in laws first and then investigate about his or her life.
Here nobody in her family have met the guy
All that money spent on planning her fake wedding could have gone straight to the scammer. 😂😂😂
