Quality podcast. I never watch a video until the end but I always find myself watching yours! Keep up the good work. It was the pinion video that brought me to your channel and now I'm hooked. Lol.
Hey guys! Respect- thanx for the work but why not placing the conversation screen played minimised at the corner and keep us seeing the bikes and specs screen as the main one while you speak?
Awesome show, You guys have nailed it! If you can keep these coming weekly. Could be cool to have a podcast version too if I don’t have time to watch the YT show
Nice! Got an eye on some of these bikes for the first time thanks to your podcast. Still think the YT Decoy 2024 Core4 with Öhlins suspension is a massive performer for the price (Mid Season Sale ongoing).
Great podcast. But, there are 2 bikes, surprisingly we didn't see. - Scott Ransom Eride. 180/180 machine, bosch powered. Pure dreams. This other bike is slept on, just like the brands other offering. Sadly this brand also is the forerunner for basically all bosch powered bikes. This bike is: - Bulls Vuca AM2 / Pinion drive.
When are you guys having a group ride video?? Think that would be great and maybe testing different bikes to see what you guys prefer actually test riding them.. great podcast keep it up guys..
great show, there's so many more bikes that you can't cover them all. My take away was the discussion on long travel/full power enduro ebikes. Might I invite you to look at the Norco Range, its a high pivot setup, rear triangle is radically different as well. Definitely not the Norco of recent,
nice video guys . I had in my mind for a couple of weeks the SCOR 6080 and after I see it here I sad what the H... and I order it . After one week in the Dolomiti area ,long trails ( SellaRonda 60+ km) and bikepark , I'm Speechless . one of the best downhill bikes I've had (very similar to POLE Voima on decending ) and contrary to expectations I was able to climb quite steep and technical terrain on it and also one of the quietest e-bike whit a bosch motor , you can barely here it on decends.
The year of the full power SLs. I've just sold my Gen 1 Levo SL (another year and I feel it would have become unsellable and been just an expensive parts bin) and have a Trance e+ elite turning up this week. I'm keen to support any brand that does something a little different and though obviously not boutique, giant used custom battery tech on a small battery with the umph to push a full fat motor along. New Rise looks awesome but gone are my days of 5 digit bike prices out here in Australia where if we're lucky enough to have a brand see us as a worth while market, we pay heavily for the gear. Levo SL Purchased 11000 in 21, Sold for 6500 in 24. Giant purchased in June sales for 7000.
That Polygon TLE-R does come equipped with the Bosch SX motor, not the Shimano. It's also, supposedly, coming with the 250W extender. I'm excited to see the full details once it is released.
I have the new Fluid VLT, exact model you guys looked at. The Conti tyres were trail casing and felt super thin so i chucked some maxis DD on rear and exo+ up front, total weight in XL size 4 20.2kg ride ready. loving it so far, Only complaint is the noise from Bosch motor, but thats just the usual with Bosch.
vs the industry shit away from Shimano. I'm sure most will put up with the minimal noise. Also the Bosch CX is a better climbing motor the the latest EP8-0,1,2.3... ? Shimano needs to pull their crap together.
Nikolai are not shipping to the UK at all. Spoke to Vincent Stoyhe at Nikolai about this. Apparently the Pinion and Fit system does not have UK certification and therefore cannot be sold. I had my order stopped because of this. They may have it sorted soon.
Please test the cannondale moterra sl 1, would love to know how it rides. Would you consider it it burley enough for aggressive enduro, especially the carbon flex stays? Loving the podcasts by the way 👌
Great podcast and I learned about some cool upcoming bikes, but please ask the guy with the black Tshirt to make more of an effort to stop interrupting Rob so much. I know its clearly well intentioned but he doesn't seem very able to judge the right times to let someone finish speaking before he starts talking and its a little awkward to listen to.
The best thing you could do for the e-MTB industry and consumers is do a review of the E-Ride Pro SS 2.0. MTB manufacturers are charging Stark Varg prices for e-bicycles while you've got Surron, Talaria & E-Ride putting out e-motos for less than half of what they're charging for their bicycles.
sounds like a European problem, its a very different situation in Canada/US. We are seeing an explosion in the ebike market with prices here dropping like crazy (example SantaCruz factory 40% off their ebikes) as inflation/interest rates drop as the economy rebounds.
Great podcast. Industry is pushing SL bikes, but do we really need them? We are sacrificing longer travel, more precise steering of burlier forks, torque, battery capacity ie 2x less riding for what really? Is SL worth all these sacrifices?
From 20.8kg seems to mean from 22kg. The weight thing needs some controls. Often it's a cheated weight with some bogus tires that can't even be used for mtb. So less than exo or xc grade sidewalls.
Hi Rob, what battery did you went for on your Nikolai? I’m 6’3 200lbs, and i have a Range VLT with 900wh, and i can’t see myself going back to a smaller battery, because my riding buddies are almost all quite lighter than me, and i would run out of battery before them of i didn’t have that 900wh

Good idea! We are still working all this out, great feedback tho, appreciate it :-)
Best ebike podcast. Great job gentlemen!
thank you bro, glad you're enjoying!
Agree.
Definitely 👍🏻
Awesome show, You guys have nailed it! If you can keep these coming weekly. Could be cool to have a podcast version too if I don’t have time to watch the YT show
Nice work guys!! Hope to see videos of you guys trying new bikes e talking about it together as well 👏🏼👏🏼👌🏼
Great informative show guys....I'm also hooked. Can't wait for the next one!!
Hands down my favorite podcast on eMTBs. Great episode - love the breakdowns. I look forward to each new episode. Keep 'em coming!
Quickly turning out to be my favourite podcast love this episode keep em coming

Loving these !! Look forward to the next one 🔥

I also like the Propain a lot. Great looks and very individual.

that Flyer is probably targeting the rental market thus the 130mm (rented one like it in a swiss holiday resort)
Enjoy the show. Great flow with the back and forth. No Ari on this list, do they not ship to your market?

hopefully they ship to Canada vs the UK.
Father’s Day sorted 😂
Any chance for a list and hyperlinks for all bikes reviewed?
Good work guys 👍 but where was the new high pivot Norco?
Please test the cannondale moterra sl 1, would love to know how it rides. Would you consider it it burley enough for aggressive enduro, especially the carbon flex stays? Loving the podcasts by the way 👌
When are you guys testing to test the Propain Sresh?? About to put my order in so would be cool to hear first what you guys think about it !
What's with that name? Shrek mixed with Sesh?
Great podcast and I learned about some cool upcoming bikes, but please ask the guy with the black Tshirt to make more of an effort to stop interrupting Rob so much. Adam is a legend. I didn’t notice that. However, everyone is allowed to not be perfect for a day 🙏.
Totally agree. I mean that as feedback not criticism

Nice bikes!
When do you guys review the Propain Sresh? Can't find any proper review on youtube ATM. Cheers
We need more full fat 180mm travel 29ers......
Amen
Hi. Can you tell somethink about EXT suspension on next episode? Era V2.1.
Great to hear you always:):)
be great to support a British company like Whyte, who"s bikes are superb!
I'm curious how the Fuel EXE stacks up against the new batch of bikes?
Come on boys, never mind the LOOKS, it's how it RIDES!
Face it - looks matter. No one wants to spend a load of cash on a bike, then have to say "yeah it's ugly, but it's got a GREAT personality."
What whit Santa Cruz SL ? please do review about him and your thoughts. Thanks
Great podcast. Industry is pushing SL bikes, but do we really need them? We are sacrificing longer travel, more precise steering of burlier forks, torque, battery capacity ie 2x less riding for what really? Is SL worth all these sacrifices?
You didn’t talk about the new specialized levo alloy ohlins LTD……
We need a full on dh rig ebike. 200-200
Did anyone else see the word "Hot!!" on the pic with the guys looking towards each other and wonder if they're thinking of each other?
I think Bulls Vuca EVO AM2 is missing.
From 20.8kg seems to mean from 22kg. The weight thing needs some controls. Often it's a cheated weight with some bogus tires that can't even be used for mtb. So less than exo or xc grade sidewalls.
Just waiting for a new gen yeti 160e, so i m selling my 2022 160e and wait for it
Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 HPC SLX 750 for £3300, Decathlon are going to struggle....

Hi Rob, what battery did you went for on your Nikolai?

Like, like, like, like.???
