What gets me is why people think different on the rapture , if the bible speaks or does not speak about it, when all the verses read the same ,? I mean if someone had 2 bibles that are exactly the same , and someone asked the 2 people what they thought. 1 person may say yes there is a rapture and the other person would dissagree even though its the same bible. I dont understand what they look at in there .
I have had pre-mill friends tell me Peter was ignorant of the millennium. But my interpretation of John 16:13 (all truth) has it being primarily about Apostolic authority. That they would have all truth and know the future as revealed to them by Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Peter wasn't ignorant and we shouldn't usurp his teaching or interpretation.
Paul clearly knew that the Millennium Reign was already taking place: 1 Corinthians 15:24-25 24 Then cometh the end, *_when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God,_* even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25 *_For he must reign,_* till he hath put all enemies under his feet Verse 25 is clearly present tense at the writing of Corinthians.
God said he was King over national Israel only 3 months after leaving Egypt as they wandered through the desert (Exodus 19:1-6). Those who obeyed His commands were part of His Kingdom. He was not physically reigning on the earth. The same is now true with Jesus, the Christ (“Christ” denotes being a king, Lk 23:2). Jesus is on His throne in heaven. Those who are obedient to His commands are in His Kingdom no matter what part of the earth they reside in (1 Peter 2:9; Rev 1:5-6). He is King of kings!
Where is that Scripture reference? Jesus' first words during his ministry was "Fulfilled. The kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe the gospel." (Mk 1:15) Standing before Pilate, Jesus said that His kingdom is not of this world (Jn 18:36). Jesus told Nicodemus that a person must be born again in order to see the kingdom of God (Jn 3:3-12). After the resurrection, Jesus continued to speak of the Kingdom (Acts 1:3) Paul often spoke of the kingdom (Acts 19:8; 20:25; 28:23; 28:31). Paul said that "the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit." (Rm 14:17) Has the Holy Spirit been given? Thus, the eternal Kingdom has begun. Again, Peter and John also spoke of the believers as being part of the Kingdom (1 Pet 2:9; Rev 1:6). Those who obey the commands of the King, are the kingdom. They can be in Jerusalem or Africa or Asia or the US or wherever. The Kingdom is filling the earth as prophesied by Daniel (2:34-35, 44-45). We, as believers, are waiting for the King's return on the Last Day when our faith will be made sight. On that day, those have entered the kingdom now, will inherit the Kingdom and eternal life found only in the King. Those who are not obeying the King's commands (i.e. His enemies) will be cast into the Lake of Fire which is called their second death.

When you understand that John recapitulates, then it is easier to translate his writings. Revelation 20:4 is one of the tricky ones. First, understand when the 1st Resurrection actually was: Matthew 27:50-53 50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; 52 *_And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,_* 53 *_And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many._* (Cont’d next)
Revelation 20:4 The first vision *_(vision 1)_* refers to the Saints that rose with Christ becoming judges on thrones: Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: Next, John has *_a different vision, vision 2),_* of the ones slaughtered in the Great Tribulation: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; _Then John jumps back to vision 1 of the Saints in the 1st Resurrection:_ *_and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years_*
Revelation 20:5 adds to the confusion: Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. It is then explained in Rev 20:6-7, 14-15 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: *_on such the second death hath no power,_* but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, The second death has the power over those not written in the Book Of Life: Rev 20:14-15 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. *_This is the second death._* 15 *_And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire_*

You are wrong. The pre mill position is faulty on many fronts. For example and there are many of them. The blood to flow to the horses bridle in the book of REV can't not possibly be literal. Friend you spiritualize as well, and you must. Jesus is not a lamb, a door, a star, lion, a shepherd. He represents those things but is not literally those things. Jesus is not returning with a sword in his mouth, the sword represents something. The book of Rev is symbolic but the symbolism means they may be literal things going on in context. All good bible students literalize and spiritualize when the context requires it. The book of Rev is not poetry or a historical narrative neither is Matt Mark Luke of John a symbolic book as such. You are making statements that are untrue about spiritualizing.

You interpret the souls "came to life" rather than "lived" from spiritism. It is not biblical. The Bible defines the body added spirit becoming a living soul. When the spirit departs, there is no soul. Because they died and were resurrected, the souls are the resurrected bodies where the spirit of life was returned to them, and hence they are living souls. New King James Version
Satan Bound 1,000 Years
20 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; 3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.
The Saints Reign with Christ 1,000 Years
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.
Satanic Rebellion Crushed
7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. 9 They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. 10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where[b] the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
The Great White Throne Judgment
11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before [c]God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life.
