HOW TO REMOVE COLOR FROM WIG! QUICK, EASY & AFFORDABLE

- In this video I will be showing you how I took this old yellow wig and removed all the color out without damaging the hair. This method cleans and restore old hair back. to new again. Its easy and all items can be found at the dollar store. Enjoy!
Products you will need
Large container to soak hair in
Boiling water
Any dishing liquid
Any shampoo
Baking soda

This is good!! Try using the actual brand Dawn, blue specifically and clarifying shampoo from suave! I only had to do it one time and it removed black boxed dye girl! Love it
Does this work in natural colored hair?

I haven't used a wig before but this method is genius. Such an easy, time-saving way, and affordable way to remove colour from a wig keeping it all natural at the same time. I love you so much girl, I cannot wait for more content.
it worked SO well, my wig was dyed a deep purple multiple times and i finally got it back to a blonde/very faded pink mix to be able to dye it a different color!!
Followed ur tutorial and it definitely works saved me the cost of a new wig thanks girly! Now I can just dye this wig another color ☺️

Would this work on a synthetic wig for removing the factory died colour? I bought an incredibly vibrant blue wig for my Ryo Yamada cosplay and I just need to strip and tone down a bit of the blue colour so it looks a bit more natural. Would this be the way to go? Or would another method work better?

Help pleSe so my was was just natural dark not black and i made it lighter by using chemicals now its too orange i just want it like honey blonde blonde thats all will this method work and remove the orange type look and the chemical smell as well please help

This worked. My wig was a little dry and brittle so Im letter a good conditioner sit in heat and then overnight
I tried this on a blue wig 7 times it did not work for me the lightest it got was a lighter blue but the hair was so tangled 🤦🏽♀️
I did all this as u did,removing the overtones zilver wig and bundles.after it was all cleaned, rewashed and intense repair conditioner overnight,the bundles and wig seem stiff and hard.how can I make it soft again and colour it ombre,black roots and white.please help
I’m having the same problem, it got 80% of the colour out but the hair is so DRY and stiff. Conditioner doesn’t seem to help
Use silicon mix
Put a lot of conditioner then put in a plastic bag wet n pop it in microwave for 3 mins. Comb out then air dry.
How can you remove the base color? The hair piece that I ordered is too gray and my hair is white?

My wig has two colors it was originally black then dyed ash blonde on top and golden blonde on the bottom will this process turn it back to black? Or should I just re dye the whole wig dark brown? Please help ya all 😂
Only way to get it back blk is to dye it this remove semi permanent color
I would suggest you research fortified shampoo for fast hair growth.
