2002 Ford 250 7.3 diesel. Windshield wiper blades just stop working. In the middle of my view. Cannot push them back and replaced both the fuses., was a nogo. Any idea where to start next the motor? I’m not sure. Thanks regardless if I hear from you.😊

My wipers were doing all types of weird stuff. I fixed it in about 15 minutes thanks to this video.
My contacts were covered in old grease and dirt. I wiped them clean and bent the tabs in a little bit. Problem solved. Thanks
Another grateful viewer here. Really appreciate the post. My son has been driving his 90 F250 for about a year with the wipers parked in the up position. Driving around looking like a goof severely affected his love life :)- We went through several wiper control modules thinking that was the issue. We replaced the wiper motor (with reman. unit) and the issue remained. Amazing something so simple and quick was the answer. Thanks again!!!

We have a 94 F-150 and the wipers didn't work at all, tried this and wa la! They work GREAT!!! Thought we were going to have to buy a new motor. Thanks for the awesome help.
I put in a new turn signal assembly years ago and it fixed this problem but recently it came back. This fixed my 1993 F250 wipers not parking wjhen switched off. Easy 10 minute fix. I appreciate the video. Thank you.

Thanx for posting this!... I couldn't get my lid off but i did pry it open enough to spray penetrating lube in there, ran the wipers and they soon started working! also mine only had one harness and was shaped different but worked none the less.Thanks again!

It's definitely worth a shot!
My wipers won't do any of the intermittent speeds. Just Low and Hi. Could these connections be the issue?

I got a 99 expedition n my wipers dont work but sometimes when i first start the truck they work on its on self even thoe the wipers is off o have to shut my vehicle off n restart it to stop

Good info. I just switched out a multi function switch on a 2012 F150. wipers kept coming on for no reason. Seems like it is fixed.
Wipers for some reason seem to go crazy every so often. Could be the switch, the motor, linkage, fuse, relay, wiring...ugh. Thanks for watching!
Do I need to put grease on the contact plate also on the rotating motor shaft. Do I put the same type of grease on shaft and contact plate? Thanks for your help.
Got a 1993 f350 windshield speed does not work properly...speed is real slow. Will this what you've done fix the problem?
Possibly, I would try it and see if it works. If that "FREE" fix doesn't do it, then maybe the linkage is gummed up with grime, or the motor is on it's way out. Try pulling the linkage off of the motor, on the firewall side underneath the cowl, and run the motor. This will test the speed of the motor unburdened by the linkage. If it moves good, then the linkage could be jammed up with dirt. Let me know if this helps.

I have an 87 7.3 IDI and the wipers turn on but I can't turn them off but all the speeds and everything work and it's seats like it's supposed to could that be the problem
My 1995 F150 wiper motor was different but the 1993 was the same as this video?

same symptomp plus the instruments lights fuse blown up when i reinsert the 8.25 c.b. on a 1993 F150. I need to remove the circuit breaker in order to get the odometer and speedometer plus the shifting operating correctly
Mine did the same (blow the fuse) i replace the multi function lever and the blowing stops but the wipers still doesnt work
