13 is my Boy Scout troop # , my feet are flat I’ve walked the Iron horse , Grandmother had 13 children . My Feather is that of a Turkey. My arrow is on fire and it’s smoke rises to creator’s Happy Hunting Grounds. Creator help these Grandmothers to seek wisdom and there actions will bring peace upon all people.
What can the grandchildren/ braves do for our elders?
I cannot believe this! Jeepers creepers! It's giving me the shivers!Ahhh, Many years ago I read Jamie Sams, "Wisdom Of The Thirteen Clan Gandmothers" and so somehow it presaged for me an age of challenge, beauty and learning…many summers have come and gone now and I am partly a white hair now an amy wisdom I feel has not grown as fast as my white hairs! Through the Mystery of life I have been drawn to the Sacred Iboga, a fool, a mistake ridden, big-broken hearted mistake ridden human being…yet should I take it? Should I go to Gabon?…Suddenly I am drawn to an old image, an ancient sound; a riddle perhaps; '13 Grandmothers…" and who should be there, but Iboga!!!!….Any further guidance or clues from you to this well intentioned frequently fumbling, idiotic but ultimately caring human being would be deeply appreciated, especially as I have two tiny, beautiful, wonderful children to care for in my hands my hands now!

I love the concept of a grandmothers group and wish it all the best.
However I notice the group Sacred Studies is a non-profit 501(3)C organization or whatever the status title is. That really put me into a spin. I wish women would not ask government for permission to be a group, or even recognize government, period! The 13 grandmothers should "go rogue" and start a whole new direction. The first thing they could do, being thirteen in number, would be to dump the Gregorian calendar and adopt the 13 moon calendar. This calendar has 13 months in a year not 12 (as there are 13 new moons in a year but 12 full moons every other year) This would have enormous implications! It would glide humankind back into the cycles of nature.
There is so much women can do! There is absolutely no justification for obeying laws as they didn't include us in their making. We can totally recognize them as illegitimate. There is no point in marching for world peace. It's a waste of time but of course do it if you must. However we need proper systems that everyone can use to replace the ones we are forced to use. Systems like signing up to be a non-profit. These are all silly man-made laws from purely the male perspective. We can sever from this male designed framework and go by the Golden Rule until we organize a proper consensus which will decide our direction. And we can do all this online in a totally egalitarian and fair way. Even children can partake. The internet is one safe place for women to speak our minds without the usual threat from men of violence. Everyone - this is what women will usher in - a world where everyone is cared for.
By the way, it is not in our children's or future generation's best interests if we go flying all over the countryside or the world. We have the internet now, what about skype meetups? And in-keeping with caring for nature, we must look carefully at using alternatives to fossil fuels at every turn. And we must encourage that and reward that in others, when we create the new systems that will make sense.
If you want to hear of some and to see ideas on what women should do, please read the Womens' Council Constitution to learn about building a whole new paradigm, a whole new epoch from where we are, each of us has this power. Together it will be electric.
