I know what many people are thinking. You want to invest like a property landlord, collecting rental income to cover your daily expenses so that you have enough passive income that you don’t have to work anymore?
Especially when home rental rates have soared through the roof after the pandemic
The thing is, the capital required for property investment is too much and the record high property prices in Singapore is just not helping.
So in today’s video, I’m partnering with Moomoo SG to share about Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) investing which is another form of investing in properties but at a smaller scale.
Disclaimer: None of the information is Financial Advice for any of you as I do not know your personal situation, so I’m just talking to myself on the internet.

If you're going for a S-REIT ETF, Syfe's 100% REIT portfolio becomes cheaper after $20,000, since it mirrors the holdings. Therefore, you don't the ETF fee of 0.5%, but pay the annual management fee of

HoneyMoney, can you comment on this, if this is accurate, whats the cons of using Syfe then versus a REITS ETF ?

I do actually think TWS sets a really good standard for how they do sponsored content tbh. They make it clear from the very start so there's no clickbaiting going on too.. But when the video is titled 'How to earn passive income with Singapore REITs' yet the majority of the video is spent shilling the MooMoo app, then it does feel pretty off..
Just to illustrate my point, the MooMoo app was promoted during the following segments of the video:
      0:49 - 1:59
      5:02 - 7:12
      8:35 - 9:23
Considering the video is only 9:38 long, that means that 42.9% of the video was an advert for MooMoo. And that is being generous because the first 50 seconds and last 15 seconds were spent plugging the telegram group and other videos respectively.
To be absolutely clear, I have no issue with sponsorship deals or sponsored content. But I do feel it should be disclosed clearly if the entire video is sponsored, as opposed to just a segment. For example, the plug for MooMoo for a minute or two in the various credit card, cpf or FI content is much more palatable..

@@andrewgj I have specifically made it clear to highlight this at 00:48 (At the start of the video). But I do take your feedback for not making it clear enough, so yes I will make it more obvious going forward.
