I decided after my second divorce at age 42 that I did not want or need another intimate relationship because I just did not feel those relationships were balanced. I did most of the work in a literal way and to keep the relationships going. I worked hard to get an advanced degree and decided to become financially independent. Never been happier.

100% women statistically do most of the work, and those men who dont want a maid/servant/cook are rarer than...well rare! Probably just as likely to be struck by lightning, which is not imossible and these men exist but I don't count on my life being good if I catch lightning in a bottle lol!

I have rough life, and i always Blame my mother for it, for wrong decision she Made, but 3 days ago, at my 29 years life of iving in this earth, i heard her story' from her self for the first time, and i was so surprise with how rough her life before me with my grandmother, and i understand her for the first time, and i connect with her for the first time too.
Hurt people hurt people, that phrase was so true, and i decided on that day, i must break the cycle, otherwise, it would never end.

Maybe I feel a different way because my parents are gone and I was very close to my parents but no parent is perfect you have to remember at the other day all parents do what they think is best for their children because they make the wrong decision sometimes yes I do they’re not God they make mistakes too but we are young and under 18 they do what they think is best for you I think I should charge the parents I said there and hit you and physically abused you or emotionally abused you I would like to say people should try to forget their parents because they’re not here forever and one day you might wish you spent more time with them because I’m gonna be gone because my parents are gone in a blink of an eye but I think I feel that way because they’re gone and I was so close to them but I know everybody’s situation is different like your situation is different you feel that the right to feel the way you feel

Her support of progressive movements, Black Panthers, feminism....I don't think people realize how brave and graceful she really is, and one day she will be seen on the right side of history and the ripple effects of her intentions will outlast any mistakes she has made. Some people really shouldn’t have children. Narcissistic parents raise mentally ill children. I love Jane so much. She’s my idol. But my god do these parents destroy your life. With me it was my mother. Still alive told me I was incapable of being a mother or even having a puppy. Anything that took attention from her. Covid, Alzheimer’s for 20 years, two heart attacks. Still going at 95. I’m on my knees . Forget family children or a life. If you think I’m weak you have no idea what I’m Dealing with or how a mother this strong screws you up. Nobody else would do this to me.

That kind of mother is strong indeed. The only way to have a life is to move far away and minimize contact. Nevertheless, even that hurts. It hurts when you set limits. It hurts when you lash out due to frustration. And it hurts afterwards. But, we can deal with it, and make a good life in spite of it.

I truly admire Jane Fonda for both her acting ability and for being strong enough to stand up for causes that she believes in. During the Vietnam war her beliefs often got her into trouble and were often opposite to that of her famous father. Most parents I’ve known including my own are and were abusive and neglectful parents. Sad but true. Parents need to admit to their shortcomings as caretakers of innocent precious children. My most humble advice to anyone who is fearful of being alone or ending up alone .
Being alone is not a bad thing for a person. It gives you time to get to know you by being more understanding towards of who you are as a person and then seen what makes you happy and then having the time to do the things what makes you happy what will bring you joy fulfilling your soul with peace and your days with a sanity of your mind beyond you could imagine.
DON'T look for others to help you find your true self and love and respect yourself by knowing your true worth and to be happy .
Being alone can be way more healthy to the heart mind and soul than being in a relationship with someone ' What will bring disappointment in your own self and with a pain suffering in your mind and hurt in your heart ,with a sadness beyond words in your life.
What's the use of being with anyone ' If you have to live a life of unhappiness and unpleasantness and unsatisfactory .
LIFE IS PRECIOUS AND IT'S JUST ONE LIFE AND THAT LIFE IS SO DAMN SHORT ' WHY WASTE IT BY FEARING TO BE ALONE AND THEN SACRIFICING IT ALWAYS TRYING TO FILL THE VOID BY BRINGING THE WRONG PERSON TO FILL IT ' OVER AND OVER.

But she admitted that she was never there for him because of her career, and they both had books out at same time but hers was alot more popular. It's our superficial society where you gotta look good and be as thin and fit as she was!

Even if we live to be old we are all on this planet for a relatively short time. We are all trying to figure it out and sometimes we hurt others in the process. Men and women cheat on each other, it is the nature of human beings. It seems so important at the time but when someone cheats on you just let it go.

Sorry but Jane's dad was an a hole and treated her like crap. He couldn't stand that she had an opinion about anything! She went on to spend her whole life trying to find the love of a man to make herself feel worthy of a man's love because her dad made her feel unloveable when it fact she was and is a lovely women who deserved so much more. I have always admired her and I know she was not perfect but she had admitted her mistakes and is humble about them. I wish her all the best and I think she is beautiful and down to earth and truly cares about people! God Bless you Jane Fonda!! Forever Loved !!

When Jane leaves this world I will cry. She
made a tremendous mistake in Vietnam and the world has tried to hold her to it for decades. She's apologized many times and she has gone on. This complicated, beautiful and contradictory woman showed kindness and encouragement to my friend she met as a stranger years ago in a Hollywood restaurant. I think that meeting my friend had with her showed her true character. Her capacity to forgive her husbands' betrayals is extraordinary.

All you young people, don't know her past actions. Media doesn't honestly report details of all her bad decisions. Her most shameful history was during Vietnam. Look up her photos, interviews that put down military men and women serving. She still is saying same things (her mixed up political views) when you use your celebrity to convince others to shamefully attack what your simple sheltered removed understanding of the real world. The dishonor is yours and yours alone. We all make errors, she hasn't learned and she hurt wounded so many military. I remember this ugly side in public as a young child, all the hurt, all those serving coming back being yelled at spit on being told horrible things...(baby killers etc.) Her political upheavals and controversies thru her decades should not ever be pushed aside until she truly understands and is remorseful with public apologies to those she affected and spat on with her contempt. I don't think much of her and her poor life only she created trying to play victim card. Sorry please younger people find out truth for yourselves quit being lead wrongly on history.
