As an older daughter who went on survival mode as soon as my Mom passed in order to make sure that my family was okay, I totally get her. I'm sending her love and hope she is able to better navigate grief and these responsabilities that she inherited.
This series gives me such hope, not just for myself in relationships, but for relationships in general. I see so many videos about what's wrong with men, what's wrong with women, not wanting to date, etc, like it's war - those things scare me. But the couples in this series (this couple is a great example) are so intelligent and articulate and thoughtful and diligent in caring for themselves within the context of their relationships...wise in ways that are astonishing and heartening.
My dad died two years ago and I have been going back home (I don’t live there anymore and haven’t for 5 years) so so much. My friends and my boyfriend have told me they miss me these past months and my mom also puts pressure on me being present at home. So yeah, setting boundaries is so important. Creating a routine where you can balance everything and everyone. But especially yourself. Take care ❤
To put it bluntly, she was cheating whilst still married? You can't expect anything that starts like this to last, it can only end one way. It'll end in tears.
This guy is somewhat toxic. He wants her to focus on him and not her family. Families are different and it’s normal to feel obligations. Not every family is selfish
I would say that's just human. Didn't come off as toxic. Most people aren't gonna stay in a relationship and take a back seat to people that aren't in that relationship. It's human nature.
@@Oceanusnovas-um2zfwhen you want to build a life with someone and potentially become their spouse and life partner, family can be a priority but it probably shouldn’t come first if you desire to maintain the relationship. If you want your forever person to be there putting family first to much can cause you to lack fulfilling their personal needs and most people want their partners to be their when their families not, so you should definitely prioritize it 😂
"you have me... I'm always going to take care of you." Wow. That's such a deep statement that I felt to my core.
They were so vulnerable and honest. Wishing them the best!

They don't just love each other. They heal each other
Such a mature and safe way of communicating! Love it! They also kinda look alike

Dating someone who's still legally married is voluntary torment.

Couples can consent to move on before paperwork is finished…

How’s it toxic for him say he wants her to be involved with her family but should also find a balance in being there for him and herself?
