Road to the Vendée Globe: The launch

La semaine dernière, l’IMOCA MS Amlin retrouvait l’eau, marquant la fin d’une période particulièrement intense !
« Ce moment est très excitant après 4 mois de chantier, confiait Conrad. C’est vraiment spécial, ça veut dire que nous tournons une page. Nous passons à un bateau qui était en mille morceaux à un bateau qui va parcourir des milliers de milles » 🌎
L’équipe s’affaire actuellement au remontage de l’accastillage, du gréement et de toutes les pièces du bateau afin de pouvoir envisager une première navigation en fin de semaine !

Last week, the IMOCA MS Amlin returned to the water marking the end of a particularly intense period!
"This is a particularly exciting moment after 4 months in the yard, Conrad confides! It's really special, because it means we're turning over a new leaf. We're moving on from a boat that was in a thousand pieces to one that will cover thousands of miles" ⛵
The team is currently busy reassembling the fittings, rigging and other parts of the boat, so as to be ready for the first sail at the end of the week!
