What did you think the first time you saw the ship coming through the anomaly? Were you expecting anything like that? I really like the direction this game has taken! Finally some action is happening! =O
This is a fantastic game for story, just like Alyx, they both achieved matching gameplay and atmosphere. Pretty rare for VR to have the whole bag. The problem with a lot of games in general now is they treat people like noobs, forcing the training sessions and wasting so much time jumping us though hoops. It's been DECADES! A lot of new VR games are really just play once type games, then show them to friends. Other than driving sims that create progression, or Skyrim & Fallout that have insane modding communities, the most enjoyment I get nowadays is the flat to VR games (even if that means using a controller). Cyberpunk 2077, Alien Isolation, RDR2, GTA V and Far Cray 5. Just cruising the roads on ETS2 in my truck with wheel set up, listening to tunes and taking in the scenery is amazingly relaxing. Hit me up for any help or advice Brandon and I'll be happy to try to help 😊
This is one of my favourite games of all time, and I've games through the console and pc generations. That moment you ended the last episode on, was one of the most mind-blowing things that I've seen with my own eyes, both in and out of VR. I was glad I played it early on thought because almost everyone that streamed this game, put that gargantuan spoiler in the thumbnail and it woulda devastated that first experience for me to the point I might not have bothered playing it because the mystery woulda been spoiled. Glad to see you experiencing this though, it's a fantastic game and it gets better and better till the end, and it leaves you wanting to see more.
Thank you for your comment, quipsilvervr. ;) I really appreciate your taking the time to share your experience. Truly I do. I'm glad we both got to experience this spoiler free. Hopefully my thumbnails don't spoil things too bad considering some may still haven't played it. I guess there's only so much we can do though. Maybe without the context it's okay even several years removed from game release day. ^_^ I appreciate you sharing what you thought about the anomaly. I was also floored when I saw that ship coming from the anomaly. I didn't expect it because the game was so relaxing at first and then it quickly ramps up and gets dangerous. I wasn't expecting anything to come through it like a wormhole. Thanks for the support. I look forward to seeing how the game concludes!
Again this game blew my mind the first time playing it. It has been a long time but watching you play it now I remember all the feelings of wonder and nervousness I had the first time. I cant wait until the standalone games get to this level and hopefully Meta will keep forking out the money to make such epic games. I have some faith since Asgard's Wrath 2 is the most impressive standalone VR game I have played. I cant wait until you try both of those games. Cant wait to see more of your videos!
To bad we will never get such grapichs again for pcvr. Thnx meta for killing of pcvr. Before we can get this great looking games again it will take years and years
I would like to learn more why you feel this way as a new VR user. Was it anything to do with them shutting down that studio Ready at Dawn? Do you think that perhaps Meta making headsets cheaper might make more people like me adopt VR, and in turn that more devs would see the need to make great looking games? 😃 Thanks for your thoughts.
@@beyond_xen many people don´t realize the only reason VR still exist is thanks to meta and standalone. People don´t understand VR is a niche and AAA vr games with amazing graphics won´t be profitable for the companies because they are expensive and there are not enough people with PCVR or PSVR2. Meta didnt kill PCVR, they tried hard with AAA games like Lone echo 1 and 2, Defector, Asgard Wrath 1, Stormland and others and they were a failure in sales. On the other hand you can buy a second hand quest 2 for less than 150$ and you can play games like Red matter, resident evil 4, Moss, Into the radius, asgard wrath 2, assassins creed nexus, and many many more, with worse graphics, true, but paying much less money. That way vr games became profitable for the companies and thats the reason we are getting amazing games like Behemoth, Alien rogue incursion, metro awakening, batman arkham shadow and many more, and thanks to that we are getting too those games in PCVR because thanks to standalone users, those companies can afford port those games for PCVR with better graphics. If Meta ever decides to stop investing hundreds of millions of dollars out of his pocket in virtual reality, we can say goodbye to VR.

I remember getting GLADOS vibes here haha. 😆

Good episode! Interesting twist at the end.
Thanks Dad. Yes it will be interesting to see the intentions of the entity.

Watching him do a puzzle and then saying nah that wasn't it, is so frustrating
Sometimes the outcomes are not what I expected
