I like natural ASMR like this. It's not about making sound, but about doing something, which makes relaxing sound. It's more relaxing this way, because it doesn't feel forced.

I don’t know how to tell you how much I love this video!! I am going on vacation to Sweden in 2 months and have been trying to learn as much as I can about the country & its history before I go. I have watched this video probably at least 10 times so far. Your voice is sooo relaxing and I always end up falling asleep well before 1/2 way through. I hope I’m at least learning something passively while asleep 😂😂😂. Thank you for this, it is GREAT!

I am so impressed that you use a differently designed title card for each country. It’s a little thing, but I appreciate it :) Love your videos 😊

I'm late getting to bed tonight. This series is going to be great! That has to be the sparkliest (I don't think that's really a word.😕) opal I've ever seen! OK that's a crazy amount of islands! I've got to sleep now 😴. Goodnight. ⭐✌🌺

Found your channel a week ago, and it's great! Happy to see my country being ASMRed. If you want to hear some more specifics about random places in Sweden, have a look at ASMRctica, he's done some videos on local places and stuff here. Looking forward to listening to this tonight.

      Vättern - Vettern
      Hjälmaren - yellmaren
      Gävle - yev le

Can mention that Visby was Sweden's largest city in the Middle Ages. In 1300 there were about 8,000 inhabitants in Visby. At the same time, there were 1,500 people living in Stockholm. But Gotland was independent at the time but connected with Sweden much like, for example, Australia is with Great Britain.

I just found your channel, and thank you for doing videos like this. Very soothing and relaxing.
I must admit that I'm very impressed at your Swedish prononciation. Being a native - I can understand that our culture is very interesting and also our language can be very hard to say at times. Especially when it comes to the letters: å, ä and ö.
Though the word for island is actually just: ö, and the word for river/bigger stream is just; å.
Otherwise great video! Love from a Swede. :)

A bit of a fact misstake: The current royal family aren't related with Gustav Vasa.

Sam corell. The current royal family is related to Gustav Vasa! The current kings great grandmother, queen Victoria is a direct decedent of King Gustav Vasa himself! Look it up. www.kungahuset.se/royalcourt/royalfamily/thebernadottedynasty/victoria.4.164e81b015607465dc12eeb.html

The story of Alfred Nobel is very interesting, from what I heard, he read a false story in a newspaper claiming he had died, and this story made him realise how he would be remembered if he didn’t change his reputation, so he came up with the Nobel Peace Prize. His idea clearly worked, because that is now what he is most well-known for. I didn’t even know he invented dynamite until hearing that story.

Some mistakes, and even factual inaccuracies, but we Swedes always enjoy hearing others talking about us anyway. Always interesting to hear different "takes". Definitely not the "typical" patriotism/nationalism though. At least from my point of view. Oh, and also, nice and relaxing of course!
