I remember the first time one of our cats had babies we honestly didn't much like each other she would hiss I would ignore her then she had babies I was sitting on the couch and she carried one of her babies over and put it in my lap and stared at me I picked the kitten up gave him a quick look over making sure he was healthy. then reached down to pet mama cat she accepted the petting and sat with me and her kitten for hours. I swear my heart warmed up a bit that day
