Yep my cat befriends my hamster too, she tries to sniff them with her nose and tried to pet then with her paw. My hamster would sometimes try to bite her nose though 😅 and my cat is terrified of rats btw
this is not a rat,this is a hamster and hamsters are more related to squirrels than rats, because they can carry things on the cheek and the rats can not, and they also have different spine curvature of the rats

Good things hamsters are NOT like mice or rats they are clean, house pets, they are not poisonous they do bite but when they are scared that’s why hamsters aren’t like these mice and rats
These are housecats, many of them probably didn't eat rats either which is why they didn't harm the hamsters. Instead that one kitten got bitten by the hamster 😂
