Love them Kelly. I love the look of those rings and clips . I made kitchen valances with a round table cloths, curtain rod , and rubber bands. They were so cute for many years.
This I would say is probably the best idea for any seasonal change up needed for a change...the 4 seasons or any of the holidays. Clever idea and you have given me lots to think about.
I have never seen anything like this done before, but I was just wondering myself if something like this could be done. What you did turned out so nice. I am really excited about trying this for myself!
What a great idea! I recently bought a pair of long panels in red buffalo check, and made two sets of curtains. The top has grommets, so I just needed them the bottom of the top half, and created a pocket rod for the bottom half and used them for my kitchen windows. They turned out beautifully and block out the sun and heat!
superb idea...I just ordered curtains.. wish I could've seen this video earlier, but next time sure I would try this cause it's so easy and money saving
I have done this for the kitchen and bedrooms using flat sheets with just the right print on them that I was looking for. But I made them into rod pockets by sewing them. I like your idea and will try this sometime! Good job!
Beautiful!! Our Targets never put them on sale...so I only have one & used it as a tablecloth for Xmas. I love the method for spacing...thanks for all the tips!! They look so good!!
Bravo! I am very impressed. I have been driving myself crazy looking for red gingham kitchen curtains. I have 3 different sizes to find, so I can never find the right pattern, color, and size all at the same time. This option solves my issue. Thank you for sharing. I feel silly not thinking of something so clever. It is such a great, simple, beautiful idea!
thanks for showing that. i was trying to find ways to make curtains out of table cloths. I knew it could be done. I shop at dollar general and they have some pretty patterns. unfortunely, im a walker and have to spend at dollar general unless i can get a ride to the dollar tree and walmart. thanks for sharing. i am new to your channel so I am looking forward to seeing your creations. valerie
I buy all my tablecloths from Boscovs and my next trip I'll be looking for new tablecloths as I've been wanting new living room curtains and this is a great inexpensive way to get them!! Thank you for sharing this great idea.
love the idea, I completed the same task but it was a little long for my window so I used the fabric with the button that came with the packaging and bunched it in the middle, then used the strap around the curtain rod and table cloth in the center and it turned out great. (only needed 1 table cloth) thanks for the starter project.
Great!! I did the exact same thing 7 years ago with damask table clothes, because I couldn't find exactly what I wanted that was long enough for my sliding glass doors. Great job!!!
VERY COOL, I JUST RE COVERED MY BAR STOOLS WITH A LARGE TABLE CLOTH FROM GOODWILL, AND ALSO MADE NEW TIE BACK DRAPES IN MY LIVING ROOM FROM REALLY BEAUTIFUL SHOWER CURTAINS, TURNED OUT NICE, I COVERED MY WINDOW SEAT WITH SHOWER CURTAIN FABRIC ALSO. NO ONE WILL EVER KNOW, SO MANY CHEAP WAYS TO DO THINGS I LOVE YOUR CURTAINS, YOU HAD SAID YOU WANTED TO INCORPERATE MORE RED AND THAT WORKS VERY WELL⭐️⭐️⭐️
Sweetie. I plan to to the same thing. I love a little tablecloth magic. And I found two that I just love. You are awesome! Hugs and ♡ for a Happy New Year! Cathryn

I have been watching you for a long time and I really enjoy your content. Maureen said in a video that you did a lot of crafting for her wedding. I think you should do a DIY wedding series. I just got engaged and I would love to see some of Maureen's decorations and how you made them. Give me some inspiration!
To save buying the hooks, you could twist the eye hook on the ring so it is facing front to back to the curtain, pin the spot and sew the eye hook to the curtain. Using the folding in quarters was a great idea to ensure it was eve.
Very nice love it. My daughter gave me her Pottery Barn drapes when they remodeled and my problem is the sheers are too long. I guess I have to adjust the top because if I cut them off I lose the pretty bottom design. I am not crafty at all
Oh My GOSH!!! I was wondering if you were going to do curtains (and if not, why WOULDN"T you do them with such beautiful table clothes??). I did this exact same thing with clearance tableclothes from Target in my townhome I sold. They were a beautiful, woven, dusty purple in a grey and white bedroom (with splashes of sage green and dusty purple as accents). It was funny that in the sales contract they specifically mentioned they want the master bedroom curtains to remain "because they are PERFECT in the room". Well, Thank you, Mr and Mrs Home-Buyer. I agreed.
i am a new subscriber i come from your channels.....absolutely stunning love your idea i was looking through but havent since more diy stuff like this will you be doing more? and also can you do a video on the beautiful pillow covers that you did for your daughter living room they are beautiful and would like to know how to make them ????
That turned out so nice! Way to go! The red looks so nice there, in the plaid. P.S. If you don't mention any mess, most people probably won't notice that at all.
This is a fabulous idea, and much cheaper! I am trying to figure out what I want to do to my kitchen windows. I have 4 windows, but in order of: window, double window, and window, so it kind of looks like a bay window all together. What would you do as far as curtain rods go? I don't know if I want to do three rods. If you have any ideas I'd greatly appreciate it! I always enjoy your DIY videos. ~ Lauren
+vanessa hooker I know it would because the curtains in our Master Bedroom are tablecloths ;) They are cream colored with gold and silver design. They were also an after Christmas find.
I need to do this for my sliding glass doors that's in our kitchen. The blue checkered I have hanging now and I had someone sew them for me....curtains are pretty expensive!!
Thank you great idea, I have a beautiful tablecloth that I will use
