Returning Warden. Used to play on console, quit a little after marching fire. Got it for pc and am trying to pick up the longsword again lol. Im better than new ppl but struggle against people who know what theyre doing. Wouldn't mind some training
I absolutely LOVE warden. The look, the weapon, the darn way Warden holds the blade. I just can't win matches with him even though im rep 19 with him. Lol
I think he should have his crushing counter from the top on all sides, I agree about the dodge attack, because your options are dodge and risk getting guard broken or dodge into a bash which you can be hit out off if charged or it can be dodged, yeah you can feint it which is nice but it'd still be better to have the option like warmonger.
It's not about the quantity but the quality, the amount of things and combos you can do with said 3 things is a lot, warden isn't easy to beat if you know how to play him.
I'm trying really hard to get good with warden. I love the character and class and don't want to change just because warden's moveset is relatively basic.

1:05 "Just to bait your opponent and all, Thats what a lot of wardens would do and all" made me laugh kinda hearing and all twice was funny to me for no reason
Appreciate this video as I've literally just started playing. What is that move you do at11:08? Is a guard break, and to counter it, as soon as someone does that to you, you also need to press x (on xbox) am i right in saying?
Im not new at all at for gonor. I tend to pick up and be very good with most heroes but i am struggling horribly with warden. I cant seem to get ANY offense going....
Hey man, I love playing as Warden and also Kensei but they seem to be characters that rely on feinting a lot but I never feint cuz I don't know how that well and it's difficult to me. Do you have any advice bro please
Great vid but the gameplay was so typical For Honor lol. “He’s just gonna parry and dodge.” Like what should he do, yeet attacks and get hit until he dies? Lmao.
Warden is so bad, easy to dodge and perry, stamina draining moves that are essential but you cant use them because you get drained, he does no damage, and he has no health, if you go against anyone who knows anything about this game youre gonna lose unless youre a pro with him, hes not good for casuals and you have to try really hard to kill someone if they know how to play which is ironic considering hes supposed to be easy
@viktorthevictor6240 well maybe you're just good with him and that's great but one thing I found while playing warden is that he's so easy to counter, I have to fight so hard for one kill meanwhile if I play say kensei or shinobi it's not as hard
@imdrewfimurr3911 I mean the thing is, so many players are addicted to dodge attacks and light spam, that's pretty much the meta for the low to mid tier players in my experience. When you learn how to counter these things many people completely fold. Warden will teach you how to properly faint and mix up your attacks, playing mind games. I'll definitely agree the Warden's side light is very slow and he has a hard time opening opponents up, but you can get smart with it. You can bash after a dodge or an out of reach light. You can do the forward lunge attack, or you can just dodge forward pretending to do that to bait out a dodge attack.

Yeah i think a dodge heavy would be great as a mixup for bash but any buffs will be great for him

Yea that was a guard break I just delayed late to catch him while he was dodging
(On xbox) to counter a shield bash. Do you also press x to do the same thing?
No to counter any bash you simply just dodge

probably a bit of a stupid question, but how do i get the flashing white indicator thing when an enemy throughs an attack?
You just turn on the parry indicator in the training settings
How do you get that bar next to the opponent when he attacks to counter easier
That’s the parry system in training you can cut it on in the training settings

Throw a lot of level 2s and 3s only really level 1s when they start respecting 2s and 3s

imo just play other characters and learn how to feint on the side then switch to warden
