I love this picture, the emotion, the lighting, the facial expressions, just wow! This is a stunning picture that left an emotional impact on me, the thing I love most about this picture is the broken armor of Nightmare Moon and the silhouette of said Mare in the Moon.

I cannot tell you how many times I've watched this video! It's a confort watch at this point. Every time I watch it I feel like I pick up something new about the shading, colors, shapes and proportions, and so much more. I feel confident saying this is my favorite speedpaint on the internet.

If you're looking for digital drawing programme I would recommend you try fire alpaca (it's free) before paying for paint tool sai. Just so you get your bearings, they are very similar. Good luck with your digital art :3

Mika Saiki Accutally Celestia raises the moon to bring out the sun.
Akilah Tinsley you are wrong. Celestia's cutie mark is the SUN which means she only controls the sun but when she banished Luna, she had to raise the moon and the sun. Now that Luna is back, Luna raises the MOON and Celestia raises the SUN. It literally says what they do on their flanks which is their cutie marks
How do you get your outlines so smooth? Is there a specific brush you use or something?
it's probably just that she has been drawing for quite a while so her line art is smooth. My friends has the same drawing softwares as me, but theirs are smooth and mine are rough. And my friends have been drawing for a while now.
I think the trick is to use quick strokes :)
