I like the redundancy and forethought, but what are the chances that your mount is going to fail realistically without the gun being bent or broken... probably not a big chance. May make sense for other items in your kit for sure, things that you may need to adjust by removing them or aren't well secured in the first place
@@professorbland the scope was more so a cus I can and to demo the other uses of the anchor, but I also seem to be quality control inspector in life so it makes me less parinoid 🤣
Seems a reasonable consideration for the PEC; solving the stated problem. However; do correctly installed quality scope mounts have a REPUTATION for falling off or losing the scope within? Seems to me, adding that for the scope and mount is adding a snag point. Also, do weapon lights have the same PEC problem?
@@jaydeveas2930 the scope was more so because I can and to demo another use of the anchor, I have yet to ever have a scope mount that was torqued down correctly fall off, but I have had red dots with thumb screw mounts come off before and I have had WL wobble off due to them like a LAM being at the end of a lever arm (rail) and experiencing more vibration
Neat concept. But $20 a pop. Woof. Did ALL of my rifles with $20 worth of 1/32" wire, ferrules, and crimper from Amazon; optic, flashlight, and laser on half a dozen firearms. Ended up with 300' of cable and 150 ferrules. Doesn't bother me it I have to redo them periodically so the m-lok mount isn't a big deal.
I just got a couple in the mail…they’re awesome!
Where ya been bro? Missed your vids.
Its summer time here in the desert and at 115* out not so smart to go out and risk a wild fire, hopefully it will cool down soon
@@nurse-dude 🤔hmm me thinks you may be in my state. I ain't saying where. But when you mention 115+
