The Pawn 2 Orchestrate

The 12th and final episode in a series following the orchestration of music based on Chess pieces. In this episode, Glenn Scott Lacey orchestrates a sketch of a theme for “The Pawn.” Special guest violinist Casey Bozell gives a beautiful performance of the piece. Topics include, phrase markings, bowing markings, woodwind doublings of strings, and flautando bowing.
