    It always amazes me how Marwan is only 18 and has accomplished so much already. I know that he is going to go SO far in his career, I agree with you that he will be the next big thing. I am so glad that you reacted to this, I have been listening to it non-stop since it came out and I was looking forward to your reaction😄

    Dude when I heard Casper drop to the bass I was like wtffffff lol, he sounds so tenor that I was just utterly shocked…. Later note- holy crap, I had watched this video right before watching your reaction and I abbbbbbsolutely missed the Tomi cameo in my viewing lol

    YES! I like your video quality! Very nice!
    And yes! I totally agree that Marwan is astonishingly talented, not just as a singer but geez, arrangements, video, sound mixing, editing, you name it-wait until his Patreon takes off and he can get himself some top-notch equipment and there’ll be no stopping him. What I really marvel at is how well he arranges his music for the voices he’ll be using. This showed a lot of things Casper was capable of doing that I don’t think we got to see before. It’s also interesting the way Marwan varies between normal staccati by the singers, as early in the song, vs. what I’ll call mechanical staccati, where he edits individual notes into the song, so there’s an absolute break between each note.
    By the way, Casper says that altho we see Tomi in that brief cameo, it’s actually him doing the growl.
    And FYI, the ship hasn’t sailed yet on developing your lower register or learning how to do subs and such. You can still do it with practice.
    Great reaction-I was so happy to see that you’d done this! Can you pretty please check out Tomi’s new piece, Overwhelmed, and Peter’s “It Won’t Be Me?” Peter also dropped a couple operatic pieces that are excellent-I don’t say you should react unless you want to but they’re really worth hearing.

    "Marwan"
    "Casper"
    "Tomi P!?"
    *Mortius throws his arms in the air and notices Tomi*
    "Hey! What are you doing here?"
    This got me laughing so hard.

  • @bradyschoch7562
    @bradyschoch7562 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Loved the reaction/analysis as always, Mortius. I agree with everything you said and I hope Casper is in more stuff because he is superunderrated and I think that the both of them are going to blow up like crazy one day.
    As far as why this cover is so low viewed is because the original song is so low viewed, so it's a little bit harder to catch people's attention right away. And as far as why the original is low viewed, I have no clue. It is truly a work of art and I can't believe no one knows about it.
    Also, nice new camera and love Mason's editing as always. His appearance was about as funny as Tomi's appearance in Marwan's video. My dude just broke out with the violin and matched the notes Marwan was singing. 😂
    Overall, they both went OFF on this one and it is crazy how talented they both are and like you said, I could not imagine the amount of time they have spent mastering their crafts. Well done to the both of you again, if Marwan and Casper are reading this. I cannot express enough how ridiculously talented you guys are. Not very many people can pull off half of the things you guys did here in just this one video. Bravo!

    Love Mortius and Mason duo (M&M), very entertaining videos. I watched the video when it dropped, where are these guys finding these songs? I had not heard several of the songs the different TBG members have covered before, I'm glad they did because it expanded my experience of music and love listening to their covers. Love the analyses of the different songs, going into depth of the nuances in each song helps me appreciate them so much more. Marwan and Casper were wonderful in this collaboration. Hope to see more. And Mortius, thank you for covering "We Don't Talk About Bruno", made the words clearer for me. I usually can figure the words out but that one, not so much. Kind of like lyrics sung in a song not sounding like the words written, i.e. "Benny and the Jets" by Elton John. Just aged myself, oh well. 😄

    Another riveting and rousing reaction as always, with a surprise cameo performance by Mason (good job by the way!). I too was amazed at the range displayed by both Marwan and Casper. Excellent arrangement and performance. Good to know that your expectations were met and exceeded! Looking forward to seeing and hearing more from Marwan and whomever he collaborates with, and your reaction/analysis of it.

    Hey Mortius!!! Just wanted to say what a great time I had watching this. You have such amazing energy and passion with every video you make and it is infectious. Marwan is def a prodigy and will only get better and better. Same with Casper and his stupid crazy range. Keep up the hard work you necktie enthusiast.

    So happy you reacted to this! They are truly both so talented. I love what you pointed out about Marwan's videos being like living sheet music, you're so right! It helps us notice all of the different parts better. I laughed so much at your shocked reactions to everything (cuz I was the same way!), especially Tomi popping in randomly. That cracked me up. 😂 Thanks for the fun reaction/analysis!!

    Well Marwen with Casper broke you 😊. Marwen is famous for doing that to you and he did it well with this song. OMG, Casper's vocal range is out of this world . Thank you Mason, I do enjoy your input especially when Mortius is having a musical meltdown.

    So just watched this video and the original video and I cant believe that Marwan hit an G#1 in chest 11:03 (thats what the method sounds like to me) also what bass note is that at 12:19... Great video Mortius

    Awesome reaction as always :) though I too haven’t heard the original and was initially going to pass on watching it for that reason alone (shame on me :( ) I did end up watching it on release day eventually. Turned out amazing. With that Tomi cameo near the end I can’t help but wonder if he was responsible for those bass drops that appeared to be Casper earlier on, but knowing how Marwan correlates these videos (visual sheet music as you said is the best metaphor ever btw ^_^) I’m sure it was Casper and I’m just as blown as you were

    • @radbrad1935
      @radbrad1935 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      After having checked out some of the videos on Casper’s own channel, I now fee ashamed I even had the above thought >_< but I’m going to leave it to show I’m just as flawed as anyone else. But for real though, holy crap, a Tenor singing Bass notes?? I mean it’s bad enough all of our favorite bass singers can sing Tenor range, now we have the other side too? Dang it, I’m in the bot with you Mortius, I’m some sort of Tenor (no idea where I fall, never had any classes or training to figure out exactly where I am) but I definitely have very limited low range, and hearing Casper makes me insanely jealous >_

    • @CasperFox

      @@radbrad1935 Thank you for the kind words

    • @radbrad1935
      @radbrad1935 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@CasperFox I’ll definitely do that right now :) I’ve seen it stated in comments already, but it’s almost frightening how so many of your low chest and sub notes are so clear and resonant compared to even natural basses singing the same notes, it’s nuts dude. I recently watched an older stream the Bobby did with Jonathon Young going into detail about subs, and I’ve realized I’ve kinda accidentally done things along those lines just when goofing around with “spooky” or “evil” sounding voices in the past so I’m hopeful, but your ability is insane man. Great job.
