That’s so cool. I really love seeing sun trails. It’s fascinating that you get a new line about every 4 weeks on your 6 month one. You’d think it would be more of a large band of light rather than separate lines.
Thanks for all the recent excellent feedback - we will gladly share with Justin. In the meantime, you may want to have a look at our other 'Life of' films - Life of a Writer and Life of an Artist. Thanks for your support!
Excellent film - I met Justin at Lacock Abbey last year and there's even a shot of me and my daughter in the film at around 5.00 minutes on the workshop.
Hi Neil. Thanks for the kind words. We are based in Leicester, but we film all over the UK. If you haven't done so already, you should subscribe and also take a look at Life of a Writer and Life of an Artist. More films later in the year!
Why would anyone rate this video thumbs-down? It was excellent, fun to watch! It was a good reminder to try to play more. :) Thanks for producing and posting this!
In the past weeks I made a borring cardboard pinhole camera that takes good pictures, and a very cool looking one made of Rubylith that does not work at all. Your video gave me a bit of hope. Thank you.
Great video. I've been solargraph pinholing for a few years and i'm still hooked, I have a few out on the roofs of buildings I work in ready to be collected in June, I have lost some here n there, parks, fences, you go to get it and it's gone :( My fav thing to use as solargraph cameras atm is Nescafe Azera coffee cans, they have an orange lid, just cover it in black tape, spray inside black, stab a hole, hey presto
I left my camera in the middle of a desrt thinking What are the odds of ANYBODY walking in this area AND climbing this very difficult hill to take it. Guess what? I find the tent disguise I used to make it even harder to find it overturned and MY CAMERA STOLEN!!!

Glenthorne?
great video😁
Inspirational!!
I am watching this on a raspberry pi 4B with heatsinks made out of beverage cans and box welded out of polyester from PET botles.
This was the best short film I have seen in a while!
Are you guys based in Bristol?
Do you think this would work with Printing Out Paper or paper treated for cyanotype or salt print ?
I left my camera in the middle of a desrt thinking What are the odds of ANYBODY walking in this area AND climbing this very difficult hill to take it. Guess what? I find the tent disguise I used to make it even harder to find it overturned and MY CAMERA STOLEN!!!
How to develop colour photo. Is it difficult.
Can you use resin coated photo paper used for printing photos in a pinhole camera?
Yes you can.
so can we take the picture for just like 12 hour instead 6 months?
You could, but you won't get the same effect.
@@mglmedia but at least we got the picture!!! And can we do in roll film?
what kind of paper, please?
Best to ask Justin, his website is here: www.pinholephotography.org/
epic brave soo good !
Have you ever forgotten about a camera? Seems like there might be the potential for forget one!
Did you ever think of exposing a pinhole camera for a week, photographing a growing bean sprout ? I wonder how that would look like.
Am I bothered......... Yepp I am!!!!
