    Thank you so much for posting this! The video and the kit from Fair Oaks were outstanding! This saved our pool wall, and the kids are so ready to open the pool! I can't thank you enough!

    Thank you! Fair Oaks and Amazon should send you a bonus. My local pool store wanted me to buy a new pool, I watched your video and I’m a dollars ahead. Thanks again

    thank you for your video, however your corrosion will continue to migrate due to the bare metal exposure of the new hole in the existing wall which is only covered by the aluminum tape. i have watched a number of these "hole repair" videos and they all fail to treat the freshly cut edges in the existing walls. this is why the rust occurs in the first place. for my repair this spring, i will be deburring and then using a flexible rust-proofing mastic around the margin of the holes (skimmer and return line) in order to prevent future corrosion migration.

    You mentioned a crack in the skimmer. Can you please provide more details on how and where the crack occurred?

    did you have any concerns about removing the top sections with that much water? I have to pull my overlap liner up some more when i have that much water in and i'm afraid to remove the top plates. But this video shows that it can be done.

  • @accscscainfo

    No, not a concern as the top railings are mostly for holding the liner in place before putting the water and to protect the top section. Not use to hold the water as this is done by the pool itself.

    What if you don't have a pool? What should I do????

  • @FTW56

    Does this process damage the liner in anyway?

    I having problems with line the holes back to the skimmer... any suggestions on how to stretch the liner up to reach the skimmer hose

    • @jessica4885
      @jessica4885 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pour hot over the liner , can help you stretch liner back in place . My beaded liner just fell down in one section of the pool , I poured hot water over the liner and was able to get it back in place

      I use heat gun. Just don't ever want to get to close to liner

      What if my liner is pulled away from the wall already. I'm only trying to replace me skimmer

    Im guessing u live in quebec...pool wall sections are easily available...why didnt u just get a section of wall??reinforce that whole section?

    • @accscscainfo
      @accscscainfo  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, not from Quebec but Ontario. Not everyone that speaks French are from Quebec. More than 1 million Francophone live outside Quebec. For the pool, I wanted to add a section of wall but I was told I would have to remove all the water and the liner so it would have cost me way more with this option as when you remove the water an older liner gets brittle and shrinks and then you need to get a new one as it will not get back in the same way.
