They didn't say anything wrong lol sure they mentioned a truck with logs an that's about it they didn't spoil the whole movie for you 😂 but...if you want me too while we're on the subject 😂
The thing I love about this series is that there's nothing to fear....except death itself!! Death will ultimately come for us all...what will you do when you *CAN'T* escape it?!
I was in HS when this movie came out and our senior trip was to Paris. And with the crash of TWA 800 still being fresh in all of our memories.. safe to say I skipped the trip that year lol.
Hey Vince, the actor you were talking about is named Devon Sawa, and he did play the human version of Casper. He's also in an awesome comedy horror movie called Idle Hands which you should check out before spooky season is over!
10:35 you talk about the 40 kids and some teachers, i just remember the bus that caught on fire in thailand that ended the life of 23 kids and some teachers in it thats so freaking sad. RIP to those kids and teachers
yes but also there's a deeper reason for it. There's always liquid present in death, carter wetting himself, the plane's explosion over the Atlantic, Tod's slip, even the freshly rain soaked street Terri was splattered on.
I always love seeing people’s reaction when they realize it was a vision. The shocked faces are priceless. 😂 This is a great franchise. Traumatized 2 generations. You should definitely continue with the franchise. It gets better, then dips and then gets better again.
As a student pilot this movie is really funny to me because the actual odds of it happening are so small (I know it’s a movie where it’s supposed to be an impossible situation). The engine cutting off is something all pilots train for though. Also the cabin isn’t pressurized until they start to get to an altitude that constitutes its use. So no one would have been sucked out, it would have just been extremely windy. This has been my TedTalk.
I always argued with people that they weren't at the altitude for anyone to get sucked out like that - nor would they need the oxygen masks at all since they are still barely off the ground as it is. They were what, maybe 1,000 feet up at that point, possibly even less?
Devin Sawa, the main actor in this film was also in another great horror movie in the 90's-2000's called 'Idle Hands'. It's more of a Horror/Comedy but it also stars Seth Green and Elden Henson (who played Foggy in the Netflix Daredevil show). Idle Hands practically launched Jessica Alba into stardom celebrity status. My favorite part in this film was Billy's death with the scrap metal. Every decapitation in film before this was the classic neck-line decap but this film was so unique to make the cut happen mid-skull. I remember being in theaters and so hyped and excited to see a film be so original and creative with its deaths. It was revolutionary!
The way this franchise puts on scenes just before the visions... is really scary. it's not jumpscares, it's just the ambiance that eveything could be dangerous or that something is coming. Just a zoom in on trees, and then random people laughing, wind, etc. The third movie does that extremely well Some ways of dying are so unlikely to happen, yet common things that you see everyday, that it can be imprinted on your mind for years
Glad you remembered that at 17:07 - the premonition of 18:23. This stuff happens throughout the movie, reinforcing the idea of what Tony Todd's character said: you find the signs to cheat death again. Like Vince said, I can't imagine how exhausting that would be, though I do think they start showing how it wears on you in this film as well as the next couple.
It really is true that we live every hour of every day only a couple minutes away from a fatal accident. We just don't allow ourselves to think about it. I love how this movie makes us think about it.
So now that you have started the series. You are gonna have to just accept a lot of short comings and finish it off. The twist and full circle stuff makes it worth it.
This was one of the three franchises that eased me into loving horror movies. (I was a very easily scared child) the other 2 being Gremlins and the original Halloween.
This series is kind of terrifying honestly just imagine that we’re not in control of our whole lives and we can’t fight but to accept it. Fighting it makes your death worse the longer you resist.
You guys GOTTA try the 2nd and 3rd one, you’ll definitely enjoy them more imo!! This is a great set up for how the plot works but the story and deaths get even better by the next film
18:31 Did you know test screenings of this movie at the time had people so freaked out by the bus scene that they added that scene of them drinking water to give people a chance to calm down.
It’s always good to see channels watch these movies for the first time. Fun facts i picked up: • Much of the news footage shown is actual footage from the July 1996 explosion and crash of TWA Flight 800 off East Moriches, Long Island, New York. Not only does this film borrow footage of the crash of TWA Flight 800, it borrows other things as well. The flight was carrying a high school French club, it exploded suddenly and was investigated for a possible deliberate act causing the accident - first a bomb, then a surface to air missile. As with this film, it was ultimately decided that the crash was a result of mechanical failure (explosion in the central fuel tank). •The story was originally going to be the concept for an episode of The X-Files, which was inspired by Sole Survivor in 1984. In this movie, a woman who was the sole survivor of a plane crash starts to be haunted by dead people that Death uses temporarily as vessels trying to kill her to correct its plan, and killing everyone who suspect about it. •The numerous appearances of "180" in the film refer to the film's original title of "Flight 180". New Line decided to rename the film to "Final Destination" through fear of confusion of other films like Air Force One, or Con Air. •287 people die in the Flight 180 disaster. In the real disaster, 230 people died on the plane, the 3rd deadliest aviation accident in U.S. History. • Clear's cabin is the same cabin seen in Lake Placid. •3:52 The music played throughout the film was by John Denver, a musician who died in a plane crash a couple of years before this film was made. • 6:36 In Alex's premonition, Tod is one of the first to die, he does not die from the explosion but actually dies with his neck broken from the impact of the music player during the turbulence. • After Terry dies, the bloodstain on Carter's face looks like the number "5". He is the fifth survivor to die, after Death skipped him earlier. •The plane set was built on a gimbal to make it shake. The plane set was later torn down and changed to Clear's top floor which she runs through in the storm sequence. •In the last scene at the cafe. The sign that breaks free from its holding brackets spell 18o in reverse (i didn’t notice that until i rewatched it) • 34:29 A romantic subplot between Alex and Clear was deleted from the final cut. The infamous beach scene originally ended with both of them kissing, and Clear later finds out that she is pregnant. There is an alternate version of the scene where Alex saves Clear from the wires, but dies from both electrocution and catching fire. Clear then has her baby, whom she names Alex, and together with Carter, she creates a plaque for their five deceased friends which is placed on the memorial. When Carter laments that Alex never got to see his son, Clear assures him that he does, as she feels Alex' presence every day. A romance between Alex and Clear (without a pregnancy) was retroactively used in the sequel.
omg i haven’t even watched the video yet but I was gonna ask for this film reaction! I don’t like horror films but I love this series so I’m really excited!
please watch the next ones (I’ve only watch the first 3 I need to watch the others) 2 and 3 are my favourites but I think as a whole + acting (maybe) 3 was the best
The detective that gives creep vibes is literally in He Got Game movie, Poetic Justice movie, Final Destination, And All About The Benjamins movie, SAME NIGGA SAME UNIVERSE...THE FOREHEAD NO FIVE HEAD NIGGA 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just recently discovered y’all’s TH-cam channel from stranger things and love you guys so much but it’s insane to me how many movies I have watched in my 17 years of life that yall reacted to all grown up😭🫶🏽
Omg I love that you guys are starting this series. Great movies and the most recent one was such a great plot twist. There are also rumors a new one is in the works currently.
There’s a highway, roller coaster, racetrack and bridge and their is a last one coming out about a cruise my 3 favorite is the highway racetrack and bridge and roller coaster. Can’t wait to see ur reactions to them.❤
sorry but the racetrack is SO bad lmfao it’s highway > plane > rollercoaster > bridge >>>>>> racetrack for me… they were so focused on the 3D aspect that the entire movie is such low quality because of it.

Oh and also that line that Devon Sawa (Alex) says "The Fuckin Planes Gonna Explode". Yes it would have been taken seriously back then obviously but a year or so after this film is when 9/11 happened. James Wan has said in interviews that he had always wanted to do a horror/thriller with a concept as this one does and a plane scene portrayed in Final Destination but he was very happy to have done this film during 2000 because if this had been an idea but not pre-production or anything yet after 9/11 happened he wouldn't have ever been able to do it.
This is one of those series where they were better off leaving the original alone but at the same time... im not mad that theres more because they are entertaining.
the second movie traumatized m. i currently live in the alpine region in australia, there are a lot of logging trucks in the area that i now actively avoid driving too close behind because of one scene in that movie.
The third one traumatized me! Please continue watching the franchise 🙏
They filmed it where I live. I had to drive that highway afterwards. Scary af.
Nevermind, I'm thinking of the wrong one. Lol
@@h0rr0rshowyeah you’re thinking of 2
There is someone walking behind you...
Because of the subway? Yeah I think about that sometimes
Final Destination 2 traumatized an entire generation. To this day, I will never drive behind a truck with logs 😭
Dont spoil it!

True. You're true.
They didn't say anything wrong lol sure they mentioned a truck with logs an that's about it they didn't spoil the whole movie for you 😂 but...if you want me too while we're on the subject 😂
Maaaannnn STG 😭😭🤣🤣
Omg you guys HAVE to watch the whole franchise they’re sooo good and 3 is my personal favorite
Except for part 4 which is the weakest in the franchise but still watchable at least
@@cavaughngrace1488exactly. The acting sucked in 4 but the kills were pretty decent.
I love number 3
3 is good, but 5 is better
Clear Rivers was always my favourite character from the film series....love her ❤
I thought people were saying her name wrong😂 i thought her name was Clair 💀
The thing I love about this series is that there's nothing to fear....except death itself!! Death will ultimately come for us all...what will you do when you *CAN'T* escape it?!
Just wait till u see the other versions it gets worse
Exactly it’s downhill from here

I was in HS when this movie came out and our senior trip was to Paris. And with the crash of TWA 800 still being fresh in all of our memories.. safe to say I skipped the trip that year lol.
Don’t blame you
You know you grew up rich when your school has a senior trip to PARIS lmao. We didn’t have a senior trip period, let alone to another country 😂
This film is a classic bro. The second one is even better.
Hey Vince, the actor you were talking about is named Devon Sawa, and he did play the human version of Casper. He's also in an awesome comedy horror movie called Idle Hands which you should check out before spooky season is over!
just made the same recommendation...what a movie
...also Sawa was the actor who played 'Stan' in Eminem's music video.

She had that reaction when her bf says something offensive but can't say anything😂😂😂
29:01 As many reactions I've seen of this movie I'm always surprised that no one notices that Carter pissed himself.
yes but also there's a deeper reason for it. There's always liquid present in death, carter wetting himself, the plane's explosion over the Atlantic, Tod's slip, even the freshly rain soaked street Terri was splattered on.
These films are so crazy and keeps you guessing who's next, but.... as Vince says.... keeps you entertained 😂
Please continue this franchise and the 3rd is my favorite.
Same!
Watching this while I wait to board my plane was a bad idea...
Got a flight this Saturday as well and this definitely wasn't a good idea 😭
