The pictures are clear portraying, people who lived more than 60 years ago in a time that is forever gone. The cars, the clothing, the people are amazing. Thank you for sharing

As an amateur photographer I just love these images from a technical standpoint. Pleasing colors from the Kodachrome film and not clinically sharp. Plus the imperfect composition in many of them allows them to be pleasing to the eye and tell a story.

I love these.. simple pleasures under the sun! I feel itchy and slight concern about ants and spiders that may have been lurking in the grass.
Thanks to our Maker.. and our host!!

As a Canadian I thoroughly enjoyed this. It would have been nice to have captions for the photos. Looks like most were taken in Western Canada.

Just stumbled upon your channel. Subscribed! I find it so relaxing and emotionally sentimental, even though it's from a period before I was born.
I've also got a sneaky suspicion that you may have photo bombed a couple of these charming old photographs 😉

Nice pics. A lot of the people in the photos look like Ukrainian and Scottish immigrants since a lot of them settled out west.

I was born 1952, moved to Edmonton, started Grade 1 1958 at Capilano Elementary, it's first year of operation.
I too thought a lot of the pics were of immigrants, like the folk I grew up with.
I have lived the last 37 yrs on the tropical island my wife was (RIP, Cancer)
from. My YT name is a reminder of Alberta winters. Thanks for the pics!!
