Thank you so much Marina for taking the time to show my pattern and how easily it can be adapted to make the bag your very own. The tutorial is great! You explain everything so clearly and have some great sewing tips. I wish I could get my hands on some of that insulated curtain lining where I am, makes the bags nice and sturdy.
Silvia Lückmann Great, thank you. The pattern is actually from Deby Cole from SewSoEasy. Check out her website she is a great lady with tns of fab ideas.
I communicated earlier-pursued buying the pattern but saw you have this on Craftsy & I scrolled through my purchased patterns (all 373 of those!) but did not see it-is it under same name? It WAS a familiar name-the Boxy Bag but that could be from many sources. Thank you in advance for your help.
I found the pattern in Craftsy but have major issue with printing the pattern-if the key=2" then only a small apart of pattern is shown-to get it all it is 1' but even though I'd assume in half, it doesn't look that way.( That is irrelevant to landscape or turned). I have printed all of the Craftsy patterns as a small example of how much I have successfully printed but this has stumped me. It is only if I see about half of it that it becomes 2' My hope is that you have a solution. My id is the same in Craftsy and I hope you can solve that way as I don't think this is the best place but the only one I have not. I was really pleased to find the pattern and still am, have the tutorial printed, this is only a glitch! I am certain this will be resolved but needs a clearer head than I have at this moment. Thanks in advance for your help. S
+Marina Brumpton (Frocks and Frolics) himMarina. I live in Canada, however I've been searching everywhere but can't find any of your fabrics, except I believe I found the red fabric. I would love to make this exact bag lol. Can you help me? I don't mind ordering from England. Thank you.

Marina, I am a little confused. I purchased your pattern but on the video you are instructing for Debbis pattern?? Also I have 4 handle pieces is that right that all need to be joined together as on the plan it looks like 3 large pieces?? Sorry I am itching to get started but am a little unclear. Thank you for any clarification. Chris
Hi, so am I! :) I don't actually sell this pattern its Debbie Coles and the link would have taken you to her website. I can't find any sales under Chris Cane so couldn't check what you actually bought. Did you buy my Box Bag, the polka dot handbag? That's a different video. Just in case this is the link.Box Bag - Easy Sewing Everyday Handbag
Marina Brumpton I actually bought both patterns through craftsy but as yours was much more instructive decided to make yours as you have full instructions and the youtube video as a bonus. Lets hope now we are both a little less confused. Thankyou

Problem is resolved! It was 'Boxy Bag' not your pattern that was the issue. I did another search and this time your bag came up and there is absolutely no issue-everything printed out without a glitch of any kind. I am so sorry if I created an issue for you. Hi
you have made a lovely bag
Chan🙏👌👌
Hi! I wuld love to make this as a lunch bag would you recommend placing insulation between the lining and the top fabric?
yes absolutely!
Thanks very much
Muito boa sua aula, parabéns
If you want to make the bag out of a fabric that is not curtain fabric, can you use fusible interfacing?
Absolutely, but use the fusible volume fleece, that works well.

Hi. I want to know if it would be possible to add insulation and make it a lunch bag?
Yes of course. That works well, a friend did that last year.

Is there some reason why people say they make “easy for beginners” videos but then skip steps! Put your lining in! But doesn’t show how!
Right you are, it takes a while to understand that some people really know nothing yet. I think I do take it much more slowly these days :)
what is the size of 4 corner?

The pattern does not even fit together from the original pdf, what a waste of time, don't think much of Deby Coles and her patterns.
I found this and I paid for the pattern!
Tq very much for this lovely video...
