Bharat Balasubramanian Too ambitious to the point of being delusional. Just look at China. They too started being poor as fuck and being looked down upon in the past hundred years or so. In fact they are pitiful during ww1. But you see, unlike India, The Chinese had the resolve to fix their flaws. They are not ambitious. They know their flaws and fixed it with laws. One child policy, innovation, education... and after they have fixed theirselves they set their eyes on the world, hence they got rich businessmen who travelled all around the world (hence most countries have chinatowns) and even if they were marginalized and looked down upon due to racism (etc chinatown massacres), they persevered and look at where they are now. A major global player. India will never be like them. Why? They have corrupt politicians, outdated and irrational beliefs, delusional citizens who denies the problems of their countries and blames it on others. Those are not the qualities that are possessed by a developing nation which aims to be a superpower

I am a Indian Muslim and surely I can say that India is safe country for minorities in the world. Here one Muslim can become president, one Muslim can become vice President, one Sikh can become a prime minister, one Cristian can become chief justice in supreme Court of Indian.
