We moved into our rented spain apartment in November 2022 and I froze all winter. Between the radiator units in each room with broken knobs, this control we didn't know how to work (no instructions), and the Saunier Dual Themafast condenser f 30 unit in the kitchen....we don't know what controls what but nothing worked until we had radiator knobs replaced. we still have no idea what this thermostat controls except that we were cold during the day and hot at night. The settings were for someone who was at work all day which makes sense. I don't know if there is floor heat or other options. It helped some when neighbors below came for Jan and Feb. Heat from below. This video was great for showing how to program which we didn't know. (downloaded the manual). I finally got tired of waiting for someone to resolve this and am trying on my own. The only trouble spot of the video for me was during the time explaining the days of the week bars the setting kept resetting. It took me about 5 times to get it right in the step by step of the days, figuring out I could wipe out all settings by going backwards, then starting over. I do wish the instructions for setting all the days the same schedule were BEFORE the individual days (or possible) but I know now. Thank you. I still don't know if I fixed anything or not but it was worth a try.
This system is a joke, all I want to do is turn my heating on or off, and up and down, that's all I want, why can't I just have that ! Is there no way to do this with this unit ?

@@alldpy1131 bonjour, vérifiez que vos températures plancher (default temperature dans la vidéo) pour les modes eco et/ou confort sont supérieures à 18° (voir à partir de 4'36 dans la video). sinon vérifiez que la programmation du déclenchement du chauffage est correcte (à partir de 5'30 dans la vidéo) ; il se peut aussi que le pb ne vienne pas du thermostat mais de la chaudière (eau pas assez chaude). Cette liste n'est pas exhaustive des causes possibles. Bon courage
Good video. How do I turn the heating off completely? All of the settings seem to always leave the control of the unit on a temperature gauge regardless of the mode which some times I don't want to do. Any help??

There is no true off. Go to the video at time line 14:48 and see how to program in the P10 Frost Protection. Change the 0 to a 1 as in the video and a new symbol will appear at the top left of the screen. When you select this mode option the thermostat will switch off and will only activate if the room/floor temperature drops below 5 degree Celsius.

Go to 14:45 time line on the video and install the OFF/Frost Protection option and you get a new Icon on the top left of the screen. This icon will turn it off until temperature drops below 5c. Then set the sun temp to the temp you want and just switch between these icons to make it work. ps. Make sure the moon temp is set low like 5c.

All I want to do is control my own thermostat! Turn it up, turn it down! Far too damn complicated. Changed the battery knocked a few buttons and its now over 25 in the house in summer! I'm so exhasperated with it! Should it be in eco or comfort? I just usually have the house at 17 in summer so it doesn't come on...I am sweating and can't seem to get it back to normal functions and the floor heating is on with a mind of it's own 😢
There is no real off but you can set the Moon temperature to the lowest it will go and then set the mode to Moon and that could be ok if your ambient does not drop below this temperature.
I just took out the bottom screw in order to remove the cover. Well, I pulled that I almost cracked the cover and the f.cking cover is not coming out. I never saw such a piece of shit in my life.
You can turn it off - keep pressing the mode button - afterit gets to the bottom (moon symbol) it will go to the top - the on off symbol will blink a couple of times, and the unit switches off. To turn back on, push the mode button and select the desired mode - I just use auto.
This system is too complicate for me to control. Thanks to your great explanation, I'm finally able to set the timer properly. Thank you !!

No matter what i set, my underfloor heating stays at 28.5 degrees. Anyone else facing this issue?
4 years later but I have the same problem I try to put the temperature at 23 degrees Celsius and it stays at 18, it’s so cold
