    Amazing video! 🤩 watched till, the end it was cool when the can got crushed by the EMERGENCY crusher.

      which can got crushed? the one at 14:00 was pulled out before it was crushed.

  • @Pearitup

    The right side looks way much better for recycling, but I'm guessing it packs out faster. 5:24 & 5:42 was very interesting, lol.

    • @NashobaTrashTrucks
      @NashobaTrashTrucks  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm assuming you mean the right side in the video? In this video the right side is the usual compartment for recycle on a normal day as it's the 60% side. But on certain weeks the 60 side is used for trash instead due to volume(as shown in this video) But yes you are correct , the 40 side packs out very fast when used for recycle.
      I checked the time links, 5:24 seems to have been an overlap... oops that's what happens when you're staring at 3 hours of video at 2am. 5:42 was a cul-de-sac with a median and landscapers blocking the road.. so had to back the truck around it which is not easy to do from the right side and not very much space to do so.

    • @NashobaTrashTrucks
      @NashobaTrashTrucks  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      actually.. 5:42.. oops lol

      @@NashobaTrashTrucks makes sense on the space of the compartments. In some of your other videos it looks like the truck has the crusher bar that you can lower for both compartments and that seemed to be a big help for you crushing up boxes. Is this an older/newer truck - I see this truck only seems to have that piece on the side you used for recycling here.

    • @NashobaTrashTrucks
      @NashobaTrashTrucks  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      the older videos are of a labrie expert.. which is a different truck. this truck is a labrie automizer, very different. recycling in general sucks in split body trucks no matter what kind of body you use. i am forever fighting cardboard either way.
      but i do miss the dual crusher panels of the old truck.

    • @NashobaTrashTrucks
      @NashobaTrashTrucks  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i'll be honest... it works pretty well. it's annoying not having a crusher panel on both sides.. but depending on how i'm running the truck... (usually trash on 40 recycle on 60) the side without a crusher panel crushes it very well with the divider panel.
      the truck surprises me sometimes...

    Does the space behind the crusher panel have to be manually emptied of recyclables and trash that get stuck in it? I don't see anything that would indicate it gets automatically dumped into either side.

    • @NashobaTrashTrucks

    Do side labrie loaders like labrie automizer have side doors to clean out the truck and if they do then do companies dump the materials they clean them out into a dumpster or into a bin

    • @NashobaTrashTrucks
      @NashobaTrashTrucks  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The automizer has a "trough-like" trap to clean out.. It's high enough that it can just be dumped into a cart.
      The experts are low to the ground and most drivers dump it in the building that they're dumping into.

    • @NashobaTrashTrucks
      @NashobaTrashTrucks  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes I do. But one of the good things about this body is it pushes material pretty well. Like butter. My old truck (labrie expert) had a bit of a ramp in the hopper which held on leaving a chunk of material in the body after dumping
