I needed more batteries and wanted a little more capacity.
In this video i test the new batteries and run them for the first time. Their size is just a little bit bigger, but going from 2600 till 3200mAh 50C and only about 25gr heavier.
Also got new straps plus one extra strap to secure the battery. The old battery strap broke on second run.
    The batteries are: Zeee 3S 11.1v 3200mAh 50C

I plan to build a rubber coated post to attach to the boat, with a 360+ spin capability and attach a “quick release” clip!!
Fish on pulls the line out of the clip and reel in the fish!!!!

You need to make a video of that!!

That's a nice boat. If the battery capacity increases, the driving time will increase, but the speed may decrease due to the increased weight. Enjoy the wonderful RC boat life

Thanks for watching my videos! Yes you are correct, i tried to find someone closest enough to original size but with better performance and higher capacity. The battery is just a little bigger but fits perfectly and was like 30grams heavier. Got probably 4-5 min increased driving time and i felt that the power was there for a lot longer. Perhaps Zeee batteries with 50c holds the power better than original.

2:05 in your opinion, what style of RC Boat would you recommend, to pull a JOINTED #11 RAPALA, 20 feet down, 40 feet back, at 1.5-2.5 knots p/h and how long would the battery last????

Haha good question, isn't that for fishing ? in Theory i can easily mod the boat if the goal is to make longer runtime. There is plenty of room to put a bigger or an extra battery in the front of this boat.

Need to do a speed comparison between stock and the zee battery . Be interesting to see if there is any gains besides the punch and run time. Im only getting 3.5 minutes out of the stock battery which mine is a 2500 mah

Thanks for visiting! That would acutally be interesting, i just got into RC. Only had a few as a kid but im getting into it again. Absolutely love it, and i will take a look for some speed tracker device.
3.5 min sounds very low to me, my orginal is 2600 and i get alot more then 3.5. Is everything running smootly, have you greased it and taking out the flexshaft?

Bro, the 4092 kV motorbike uses 3s x 2, is it good, does it run using 1 6s

Hello! im not really sure what you mean, depending what you ESC can take, if it specified for 6S, you can if you have 2x 3S use them. Just make sure to connect them correctly so you dont mix parallel and series circuit

Nice.....I was wondering if 50C would be too much. Looks good tho

Seems perfectly fine! I wish to try 4S on it, but what i have seen that is crazy fast for it to handle. Wish there was something between. The best thing was the extra runtime from 2600 to 3200, and the weight is very close to orginal

With the battery on the left side, the boat lists to the left. You could move the battery to the center, in front of the motor, for better balance. Has anyone tried this? Did it run better, or did it mess up its planing.

    • @theadmirer_
      @theadmirer_  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

Hello! Yes i agree, it would handle alot better with center of mass. I have seen someone do it. Glue a battery holder infront of motor. Im thinking about it, can also hold bigger battery and test 4S 😃
