    Bretts Rice Bread (brb)
    2 cups white rice
    1 cup water
    3 tbsp olive oil
    3 tbsp brown sugar
    1 tsp salt
    2 ¼ tsp yeast
    Wash rice and soak in enough water to cover for 2 hours. Drain and combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until very smooth, about 3 minutes. It should get warm but not too hot to kill the yeast.
    Pour into a greased baking pan, cover and place in a warm area to rise. Once risen 1.5x (about an hour) bake at 375* for 35-40 mins, top should be just browned.
    Eat immediately! It will firm up as it cools making it better for sandwiches etc, but it’s best when it’s hot.
    Tips:
    Do not scrape the sides of the blender, only use what is poured out. The sides have grainy bits that ruin the texture.
    Don’t let it rise much more than 1.5x otherwise it will collapse when it cooks and it will be dense. You can spritz the loaf with water occasionally while baking to help the top from drying out, also putting a pan of water in the bottom of the oven helps too.

    At 2:37 I noticed on your chart plotter that the voltage at the plotter is showing as 11.5v Given that you have LFP batteries, that seems pretty low. If the battery voltage is significantly higher than that like the typical 13.2v that LFP's life at for 80% of their life, then you might try to find where the voltage is dropping. I had a similar condition on my boat and started getting drive errors for too-low voltage even though the battery was at 13.2v. I traced it to a spade terminal on my panel that was only feeding 10.8v to all of my instruments. It was causing all sorts of little problems in my electronics and I new connector fixed it all.

    I have to say, Y'all are making me think of my father so much watching this crossing. I got the chance to sail with my father when I was 15 years old on his sailboat down in New Orleans. I always wanted to sail again with him, but he got cancer then sold his boat. It's been 6 years since he passed and Y'all's videos make me remember the great times I had with him so thanks for the amazing videos. Safe sailing and hugs to you all XoX 💘

      @Falcon204 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@arthurwolfburg6441 Thanks for that reply, yeah lost so many friends and family over cancer it’s horrible. Just happy that I was able to reconnect with my Father and had 5 wonderful years with him. He had Multiple Myeloma Bone Cancer and fought the good fight. So sorry for your loss as well. I always believe how much he loved sailing that he’s watching Brett and Jade with me over my shoulder. 🫶🏼🫶🏼

    Jada about your allergy and the rice. I can’t get into all the details but the head nurse from Morgan City Hospital told me about boiling rice and using the rice water with a tiny bit of sugar added to give my baby for colic. It works for helping with stomach cramps and stopping diarrhea when even pedialite and all other formulas didn’t work. Allergies are unpredictable, you can eat the same thing for years and all of the sudden one day you become allergic, same thing with dust, mold, mildew, pollen, etc. Good Luck.
