Your happiness is clear for all to see. So pleased your parents have finally arrived and love your house and garden. Your hosting them is so so thoughtful you have a good heart ❤️ I imagine your parents are going to have the most wonderful time with you and Joe. 🤗🙋♀️
Get Rina her own channel - she has got those vlogging skills off to perfection. Hope you all have a wonderful time together in the UK P.S. I think the cake stand might actually be a stand for eggs! But it did the job perfectly for the afternoon tea!
Loving Rina and Mark vlogging they should have their own channel x Hope you have a lovely time with your parents while they stay with you. Loved your afternoon tea looked so nice x
I knew your mum would head straight for the garden, after seeing how beautiful hers is, and I agree with her I could live there too, if only for the garden.
Hey Dianne, me mum and dad love watching your vlogs together!! Some tips for Joe about his rubber plant - my mum has a really big rubber plant that she's had for years, she often get's offcuts from it, her tips are to not water it too much and pull the leaves off as soon as they go yellow!!
Dianne you should try Philadelphia and smoked salmon croissants. So happy your parents are well now and over here with you and that was a lovely thing to do for them. I hope the weather improves so you can take them to a bootsale 😊👍.
This was just the BEST content, I love Dianne's parent's & that afternoon tea looked devine, aw your mum saying she could live here in the UK, also lol at Mark scoping out the sheds, just loved this so much, cannot wait for the next one 😍🧡🥰
Lovely uplifting video. Enjoy your precious family time together. I hope you all have a wonderful time. That Emirates flight looked amazing. What a treat.
Your parents are so cute! It was lovely to see them arrive at your place, thanks for sharing that with us ☺ Hope you all have the best time and would love to see more of your adventures together. Australian here that currently lives in the US and so don't hear a lot of Australian accents everyday so hearing your mum it was nice to hear a strong aussie mum accent haha
Oh i love your parents Dianne. Your mum saying it was too posh for them on the plane but then she was so funny going up and down whilst lying on her bed/chair. Its the little things that make us giggle🤣. They were both so ghast when looking around your house, you just know theyre do proud of how well you’ve done for yourselves. I think its gonna be hard for them to go back home, well only if it’d stop raining lol. Id love to see more vlogs from them both too xx
HOW TO KEEP A RUBBER PLANT ALIVE FOR JOE! Pretty sure its the same for the foliage plant. Ficus elastica is a species of evergreen tropical tree native to southern China, Southeast Asia, and Indonesia. Belonging to the fig family, Moraceae, it was used for its latex sap to make rubber before synthetics were made available. However, the bulk of rubber made naturally comes from Hevea brasiliensis. Many plants contain substantial amounts of isoprene, but these two plants contain enough in their latexy sap to be used to make rubber. In addition to being useful for rubber, in tropical Northeastern India, F. elastica roots are used to make living bridges! A dead tree trunk is put across a river, and the F. elastica roots are guided along the trunk. As the trunk rots, the roots grow to the other side, and thicken, and more roots are trained to complete the bridge. The bridge resists wind and flooding well because it is flexible. Truly, this tree is elastic in more than one sense! Rubber trees make excellent houseplants, as they are low-light tolerant, and help clean the indoor air from pollutants. The family Moraceae is a family of shrubs, trees, and lianas, all of which will bleed a latexy sap upon wounding. Members of this family exhibit foliar polymorphisms, meaning that their leaf shapes will be different for different stages of life. This is a fairly odd characteristic, as most other plants make the same leaf shapes throughout their lives. General Care Sunlight Thrives in medium to bright indirect light, and can tolerate bright direct light. Water Water every 1-2 weeks, allowing soil to dry out between waterings. Increase frequency with increased light. Humidity Any humidity level will do. Normal room humidity is fine. Temperature 65°F-85°F (18°C-30°C). It’s best not to let it go below 60°F (15°C). Size This plant can reach an ultimate height of about 30’ (10m) and will have a spread of about 10” (3.2m) over the years. However, as a houseplant, will be much smaller. Common Problems It is generally a very easygoing plant. May get scale and mealybugs. Treat scale bugs and mealybugs as soon as they appear with weekly sprays of horticultural (Neem) oil and regular wipe-downs of the plant. SYMPTOM: Color fading on leaves CAUSE: Not enough sunlight SYMPTOM: Leaves curling inward coupled with dry potting mix CAUSE: Underwatered SYMPTOM: Leaves dropping coupled with wet potting mix CAUSE: Overwatered Precautions This plant is poisonous to cats, dogs, and humans if consumed. Best practice is always to keep houseplants out of reach of small children and pets.

Hope you're having a fantastic visit with your parents- you look so happy! For Joe's Rubber plant you need only to water every 1-2 weeks. You have to let the soil go quite dry between waterings and then soak when you water. At least that was my main problem when I first got mine, I watered like I was watering other houseplants and it was looking so bad.
