    Its sad that this mod's online is better than Nitro Fueled. Tried playing NF after this mod dropped just to see; I was lucky if I managed to get through a full race without people disconnecting.

      This is the difference between Business and Passion 😉

      I mean, is just a online time attack, so is more easy to implement

      Matchmaking kills the longevity of online games. If NF had a server browser it'd be significantly easier to find a game.

      @@livretro Remember the modders are volunteers. What they are doing is something unbelievable and that has never been done for a PS1 game. Such lifesavers

    This is a golden experience . unfortunately , I'm not a good player , but this mode is really great for those who want to put their skills to good use .

      I agree this is amazing and it's only the beginning :). Don't worry, I think this could be enjoyable by everyone, even by the most casual players. And remember you can always get better by playing it and by following tutorials :)

    Abusers of shortcuts....
    🤮

    • @nico_defi
      @nico_defi  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      Well... What I think is:
      1. Taking shortcuts requires skill, very high skill sometimes
      2. Most of shortcuts (also some of the "unintended" ones) were in reality studied and developed really carefully by the genius of the Naughty Dogs
      3. I still understand your point of view, cause the maps are so beautiful that sometimes racing without shortcuts allow you to play and enjoy the full track gameplay and scenery. That's why, as a CTR fan and as a Comunity CTR lover, I wish in the future there will be the skipless and the no shortcuts mode. And I think the chances that this feature will be added are high :).

      @@nico_defiwait, so the classical Papu Pyramid shortcut of riding the side wall to cut through the finishing line is also intentionally by developers?

      @@nico_defijust want to comment, your reply is really well done despite the original comment being a bit vulgar. Thank you for seeing both sides, it's rare nowadays.

      @nico_defi  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@iam4026 I honestly think that yes, it was intentional. Anyway, I'm 100% sure when it comes to all the Hot Air Skyway and Polar Pass shortcuts: they were for sure intentional because every track detail is at the right place.

      @@Tretij_rebenok It's rare nowadays but lots of times, the truth lies in the middle!
      But usually social networks don't encourage this type of communication.
      Anyway, I greatly appreciated your comment, thanks a million :)
