Its sad that this mod's online is better than Nitro Fueled. Tried playing NF after this mod dropped just to see; I was lucky if I managed to get through a full race without people disconnecting.
@@livretro Remember the modders are volunteers. What they are doing is something unbelievable and that has never been done for a PS1 game. Such lifesavers

Well... What I think is: 1. Taking shortcuts requires skill, very high skill sometimes 2. Most of shortcuts (also some of the "unintended" ones) were in reality studied and developed really carefully by the genius of the Naughty Dogs 3. I still understand your point of view, cause the maps are so beautiful that sometimes racing without shortcuts allow you to play and enjoy the full track gameplay and scenery. That's why, as a CTR fan and as a Comunity CTR lover, I wish in the future there will be the skipless and the no shortcuts mode. And I think the chances that this feature will be added are high :).

@@iam4026 I honestly think that yes, it was intentional. Anyway, I'm 100% sure when it comes to all the Hot Air Skyway and Polar Pass shortcuts: they were for sure intentional because every track detail is at the right place.

Matchmaking kills the longevity of online games. If NF had a server browser it'd be significantly easier to find a game.

3. I still understand your point of view, cause the maps are so beautiful that sometimes racing without shortcuts allow you to play and enjoy the full track gameplay and scenery.
