Super excited for this. Been playing in TW since it's launch. Both modes are very fun. The keys were very generously handed out. You would have to hit the F2P super hard to run out. AND YES, character reviews would be super cool. One things to not on Gacha mode being tied to the F2P mode, at the beginning of each new run through, you get to select 3 characters from your current Gacha roster to bring over into the F2P mode. Level reset to Lv1 but all current equipped skills carry over. This can give you a great leg up in starting the campaign due. Both modes are super F2P friendly and fun. Got any other questions let me know.
I played the TW version for a week back in September or October, just to make sure I liked it, and I did. I was super ready for it to come in November, and then we got the unfortunate news of the delayed release that definitely killed my excitement. I'm concerned about the fact that we went from a late fall release, to sometime in spring, and now to summer. That said, I'm still looking forward to the game if we ever get it.
Can not wait for the release. I made several runs through the campaign and enjoyed, but had mixed feelings each run, mostly due to skill RNG. Maybe I will even do some videos about it on my neglected channel... I miss having time to do things.
Sooooo pumped you're covering this. Been rinsing the steam demo for MONTHS since next fest WITHOUT touching any GACHA. One 1 cycle. Can't wait for the full monty. Great game. I repeat. This game is very enjoyable w/o any gacha. Please continue to watch this one please. In the months I've been chugging along I've had more than enough keys to keep playing the same cycle nonstop.
@@TitaniumLegman Ah, I'm a big fan. Based on what you seem to be looking for in strat games I think you'd love Disgaea 4 & 5. The others are great too but those are the peak of the series and best place to get hooked. I'm actually rare in that I think D1 has a great story too but it only kicks in during the last 25% or so of the game.
@@FLIK510 I did enjoy what I played of 1, but it seems like a game that I need way more time to invest in. I have friends who adore the series, so it's Def on my list to tackle.
@@TitaniumLegman Yeah they're def time syncs. If you just did main story only you can beat them fairly quick (by RPG standards) but there's so much side and post game content that you'll easily spend 100+ more hours on that.
Pretty hype to play this. Not a lot of good srpg gacha games. Feh is trash now and I stopped playing LangrisserM for a long time now. The singleplayer game non gacha part is also hype, like the Eden game or w.e it was called, hopefully they make it so collab content is permanent like that one.
The only two mobile games I look at anymore are those with *absolutely no* PVP, like Octopath Traveler's Champions of the Continent, and Another Eden. It just really doesn't fill me with confidence seeing any sort of PVP, especially if getting high scores in PVP will get you items that you can use to upgrade your characters, which makes you feel like you're going to fall behind further if you don't engage in PVP. It'll get worse when players say that the single player campaign is too easy, so they'll start introducing super bosses that can't be beaten unless you won at PVP the past few months in a row. Haven't done that? Then have fun waiting for several months before *powercreep* makes your characters allowed to touch that boss, and by the time you finally beat the first one, there will be three more super bosses made for the whales. Nahhh, I'd rather wait and watch to see how good it actually is before diving into it. I know where all of these go, even those that say they have a Single Player storyline. Besides, a Summer release means it'll come out just around Visions of Mana, and let's be honest, I know what I'll spend a lot of my time on when that comes out.
I see the animation is pretty, but the gacha side and the fact that I need to login with my steam account is what turns me off. Great idea with the single player aspect, but what if I only WANT the single player without the excess input information. I am not happy with the idea of a gacha game fuse single player with the addition that the game needs to change my computer configuration to suit it profit. I'll past on this one.

All games with ingame purchases are scams. This game looks cool and I’d love it if it did gacha like Xenoblade 2 but I will not be playing this game the way it is. Don’t forget that these games always die eventually and then all of the money you spent to get your pixels wont even give you the pixels anymore.
Not all are scams. I've played quite a number and there are games where that's not the case as all they're charging for is skins. You can get all the characters in the game eventually. Games like Azur Lane and Last Origin for example (especially Last Origin since you don't even really roll for the characters using the premium currency at all).
It's about principal for me. I wanna fight with my money and time for a better gaming future and anything that has gacha is a no go for me. So many other great games to play out there that I'll happily pass. Plus Unicorn overlord gots my full attention for a while so I'm happy skipping this one.

Not hearing "UNICORN OVERLORD" at the intro felt so jarring to me.
I TOTALLY expected the metal clanging noise and then "UNICORN OVERLORD" after the intro. LOL
Big same lol
You really can get used to the one thing that gets a lot of vids here, can’t you?
It happens all the time. I'll always associate Christopher Odd's videos with "Hello, Commander" due to his Xcom 2 seasons.
