You can tell how much effort they put to this game. Is not just a game of "Ooo walking Foward with bad stuff happening and a jumpscare" is more then that
Other games are like "haha you go on you die and get jumpscared" or "oh wow secret stage they put effort into that but not good or best ending just the worst ending".
Truly one of the best Sonic.exe games out there. It has an actual story, it is not forced into a bad ending where everyone die, the hidden message Sonic got a purpose, no idiotical jumpscares and overall just awesome.

I give this two thumbs up. Awesome work. Hell of a lot better than the original, not saying the original was bad, but this one keeps you more on the edge of your seat. Can't wait for someone to make a full animation of this version.

Gameplay wise I can agree it does control well and each character works about how you'd expect. Except for Knuckles spinning move.. Nobody ever saw that coming.. The story behind Exetior isn't that different from the original game and knuckles and Tails have more story but it kinda just throws you into Eggman's. This has been pointed out in another video, but to those who haven't seen it yet, there is one jumpscare on the Tails starting level. At 01:45, Kostas walks by a tree with a blue bush like thing hanging from it. It's not a bush. Do not stop under that tree, and do not look up at it. That's evil sonic upside down, ready to rip Tails apart, and will instantly kill you. Kostas triggered the jumpscare without killing Tails by getting close enough to the torpedo. Either that or it's randomized. I don't know which, but I just know that one won't kill you. If regular Sonic comes running up behind you and talks to you, you'll get the jumpscare. Also, any time the demon says "I AM GOD", the jumpscare will occur.
Wow this version is actually quite good :o the soundtrack especially the ... An added Echo to an already eerie theme adds to it's creepiness and hopelessness

And he thinks of nothing, except throwing himself onto the spikes because they were the only family he ever had,and he cannot live without them! Gosh,that was very tragic!!
I know, but sonic.exe isn't only creepy. He brutally kills and tortures his victims. The only way to put him in a official game is making deaths bloodless, by making the victim "falls off the map" just like Sonic do when he is out of rings. Sega would also need to buy the idea from sonic.exe's creator, and I think that this will not happen considerating that sonic.exe have this brutal killer reputation.

awesome sonicx, in the canon, he's just in the "fun is infinite with sega enterprises, signed majin/satan" message from sonic cd, rather than being called creep, and being the dark guardian of sonic's mind.
This is definitely top two sonic.exe games. Especially the actual realism and thinking over that came with it. It’s not some cheap jump scare filled game where everyone gets killed because of idiotic reasons. For example knuckles doesn’t just cry when he’s scared he actually fights back. Knuckles actually puts up a fight against sonic which is realistic considering how he and sonic constantly clashed. Tails also didn’t just sit and cry he was an active member. And then egg man bringing in metal sonic and not just being killed instantly was relieving as well.

This is definitely top two sonic.exe games. Especially the actual realism and thinking over that came with it. It’s not some cheap jump scare filled game where everyone gets killed because of idiotic reasons. For example knuckles doesn’t just cry when he’s scared he actually fights back. Knuckles actually puts up a fight against sonic which is realistic considering how he and sonic constantly clashed. Tails also didn’t just sit and cry he was an active member. And then egg man bringing in metal sonic and not just being killed instantly was relieving as well.
Bro the image and music that shows after sonic is saved is so good, you know its a good ending when the main villain of the game stands in the photo happy
