Hello DD, Just received a new Bison yesterday, you may be interested to know the chassis flex you experienced has been taken onboard by the manufacturers and on my car there is an underside aluminium base plate installed. I suppose not only does this plate act as a brace but it also covers the previously exposed steering rod and protects the battery straps. Another useful upgrade is that the centre drive shaft is now fully enclosed. Regards
Another awesome review.. I have a 1/5th 30cc Baja buggy but I think that these kind of trucks are the way to go. A little smaller great torque and a whole lot cheaper. Keep up the great work mate. 👍

I've done the steel gear and chassis brace upgrade and it is a tank. Only thing need now is to replace lower front arm pivot pins with through bolts because they pop out when you hit hard in front wheels. A few bucks at hardware store. 👍

Wow, ok. Where can you find those parts? I'm a complete beginner, so far all I own is a redcat Tornado, so all the parts I bought for it I got at the store.
I have literally spent more time working on this thing than I have playing with it. I'm waiting on a servo now because the last time I had it out (the run right after I had to change a aluminum piece and pin cups) the servo started grinding and it wouldn't turn. I have also had to change the shocks because one bent. I'm to the point now where I'm wondering why I'm wasting my time with this thing. It really is awesome when it's working but it doesn't stay running long

My Bison works very well so far, but I have one issue. Sometimes when I normally drive and then stop and stand still, the car starts to drive backwards slowly without me doing anything. Even if I don't touch the remote, it does that. But then if I press forward again, it drives further just as normal as before. But if I want to drive backwards on purpose, it doesn't do that. Now, does this car even have a backwards gear and I don't know hot to controll it or is that a fault of the car and it is damaged in some way so that it drives backwards without me doing anything

Hey man, I’ve recently bought the bison and it seems to turn left sharper than it does to the right. Is this normal? I’ve centered the Servo and have adjusted the transmitter. Is there a reason for this ??
You're going to need to upgrade You're spur gear to metal "plastic will not last on 3s long" You're going to need to get better hinge pens for the front because they brake eazy I can keep going but yet I won't love my bison was 1 of first in USA to get this truggy in 2014 RIP VKARR BISON 2016 got destroyed when I hit a telephone pole at full throttle
Another great review bud. But to add something, the breaking wa not your fault. I was hesitating long time between the bison and the cheetah (v2) and finally took the cheetah. there were too much report of breaking about the bison : facebook page, rcgroups, etc. And finally, when i saw this vidz : th-cam.com/video/buRJK9HQtiI/w-d-xo.html , i made my decision. Bison may be a little more easy to handle, but cheetah is clearly a lot more durable. And thats a win card for me. Thanx for your great job buddy :)

I've done the steel spur and bottom brace and got rod for hingepin replacement. Just need to install 👍. Sorry about your truck! 😱
