I am flabbergasted by the fact the Butler was carefully setting up the in-suite dining table without first getting the tablecloth perfectly ironed 😳. £1.500 a night, plus the cost of the intimate meal to eat on a creased tablecloth? I’m truly HORRIFIED 😂🥂

Yes! I grew up wealthy- my parents were multi millionaires and philanthropists. They were very thrifty because “you don’t get rich by spending it all” as father always said. This hotel is a nice indulgence for newlyweds, but I was raised to think of how far money could go for those in need - if I have $5,000 for a hotel stay, it feels better to only spend half, so I’ll do $2,500 for a hotel and $2,500 goes into an investment fund that will serve the needy who consider food and electricity a luxury they’re grateful for. I don’t need elaborate hand carved chocolates or exotic bouquets in my room. There is a luxury in knowing you have all you need and enjoying simple pleasures.
