Probably the best Call Of Duty with how it's showing the horrors of war. I know the reasons of people who think Modern Warfare games are better, but this one and Black Ops games are very good.
@@Ekuator1 You should look back at cod4 mw(by that I mean the original version instead of the remastered one). The barking sounds were nightmare fuel but it was so neat at the same time. Along with og mw2 and 3.
@@baileyclifford2852Yeah. Arisaka and Nambu did make a couple changes to the Mauser system, though. Mostly by further simplifying and ruggedizing it, and adding more features to the rifle to help with reliability under adverse conditions. Then add the weaker ammo on the 6.5mm versions and you had a rifle that you could drag through a muddy jungle for a year and it'd still cycle with nary a complaint. The IJA was arguably the ideal WWI army in WWII, and the Arisaka was similarily basically the ideal service rifle... for the western front ca. 1915-1918.
@@magni5648 Yeah they did make it more suitable for tropic conditions, like a chrome lined barrel to prevent corrosion, but the bolt system and assembly that Mausers counterparts are famous for remained pretty much the same
I played that game it was up my ally and I have betten it on easy normal and hard if I remember right but not on the other two that I would need to play with other people to play it
5:37:30 Okay so all of those people were wrong lol. Treyarch was only an extra studio brought to work on CoD when Infinity Ward needed more time for their next ambitious title (COD 4: Modern Warfare). So the games that were made by Treyarch at this point are only CoD 2: A Big Red One (a console exclusive title) and CoD 3 (Not a spin off but doesnt have a PC version). WaW is the second 3arc title that filled in a year for CoD. It is built off of CoD 4 (with some under the hood improvements to the engine). Kinda crazy how the "extra" studio became the fan favorite over the years. I always say: Treyarch never misses. Every one of their titles since WaW always slaps. If you ever get to the "modern" era of CoD, just know that Treyarch are always getting stretched and pulled to work on everyone's titles and fixing their crap.
@kalmiaamanita cod 3 is very weird. I haven't played much of it since I'd have to use my xbox to play it, but I think it is the first cod game with vehicles in multi-player. It has a unique gameplay structure. I wish I could play a full match of it one day to actually make a proper opinion on it. EDIT: play the xbox 360 version, you can play it on the series x. Not only that, it is just the best version. It runs at 60 fps while the ps3 version runs at 30

The OSTs as well
@@emircanozad914 it just gets at it's very best with the Soviet OSTs like Hell's Gate. But.. Nothing beats Black Cats ost
@@Ekuator1 Not to mention the barking sounds of the dogs back in the day. Along with the og modern warfare games.

Great gaming video! I want more of COD
I'm playing all of them! (That I can get on PC)
@@kalmiaamanita That's good then and don't other great games because you can go a long way with variety on TH-cam.
Next to OG black ops they're the best 2 imho
I dunno, I liked BO2 the most.

Arisakas weren't rebuild Kar 98s, but the action is essentially based on the Mauser system and sort of its own offshoot line from them.
Yep, most bolt action rifles used at the time besides the Lee Enfield and the Mosin used a Mauser action
