.I'm a wanjama-gallinas mende. Gallinas people are a blend of bullom, Vai and gola. The defunct Gallinas kingdom borders roughly from the moa River in coaster sierra leone to the Lofa River in liberia. Presently the lingua franca in these regions is the mende language and is rapidly growing. The mende languange speakers are far the largest in sierra leone second only to krio. The mende cultural music is the official music played in all poro and Sande festivals in sierra leone and liberia.
Wow this place in Freetown is totally serenity, absolutely beautiful neighbourhood, loving it, pls do more of this affluent neighbourhood in Freetown Freetown ❤
I pray that the Creator can bless Freetown and its spirited faithful people by giving it grace and strength to rise like a Phoenix from the flames of its past wars. I pray that the righteous from its lands, shall lead the new way into a prosperous future. Know who u r and who u work and walk for. Bless. I'm calling from UK, just outside of Londob. My family are from St Lucia.
Great content as always. You should be giving history lessons. I know more about out there from you. You are restoring my faith in Sierra Leonean people. I like the fact you’re working hard not like some people out there who want to live off relatives overseas. Watching as always from London.
I am commenting from UK. I visit an old friend who was born in Freetown very near the Brookfield area. He became a Journalist in Sierra Leon and worked for the National Radio Station.during the late 70's earlier 80's. He left as a young man , travelling to UK, where he studied for a Bachelor Of Law in 1985. He is now retired & because of loosing his sight, is receiving support in a special home. I wish that u could give detail information of past 1980's and prese history of Lewis Street, in the St John Aera of Freetown. My friends name is Joseph Omodele Cole. I am prepared to make a donation if this is possible. Thank u.
