Hi there, Could i get some details about the catalyst: 1.What catalyst and is it in gas or solid phase? 2. How is the catalyst separated from the polypropylene powder? Need this for my 3rd year degree design project. Thanks so much! :)
From my 2 months internship at a PP producing company, I learned that the catalyst is never removed from the process. It's only deactivated in the Product Purge Bin by wet nitrogen (Nitrogen + Low Pressure (LP) Steam). There is no need for catalyst removal facility as the catalyst is introduced in very low quantities compared to the flow of the polymer resin which doesn't render the product purity below that of costumer requirement. Catalysts used are either SHAC, Consista, or TiNO which are basically Titanium based catalysts. Tri-Ethyl Aluminum (TEAL) is used as a catalyst initiator (known as Co-Catalyst). Along with the catalyst a selectivity control agent (SCA) is used to increase the atacticity (percent xylenes soluble) of the polymer which increases the polymer strength (SCA is called Stereomodifier in this video).
Hello. Sir i am interesting in rubber grafting adhesive technology to make with cloroprene rubber with MMA aand BPO. I hope you will reply me as soon as earlier. Regard. Q. A. Albani.
Thankyou, all the video is informative yet it doesn't speak a word. Outstanding job
thank you and blessings from a chemistry teacher
Interesting, thanks for explanation
Hola! Alguien sabe donde puedo conseguir informacion sobre este proceso de manera industrial? o de alguna fabrica que lo produzca
we are interested in" continuous polymerization to foam eps" turnkey project. kindly give the detail.
hello.have you any inormation about Polypropylene glycol industry ?
And what would be the cost to build a plant for polyethylene
which resin can be manufactured using Ethylene Glycol
Super 👍👍👍👍
What kind of polymerization is it? Addition polymerization or condensation polymerization
Would this process be the same for PVC polymerization? I need help on my senior Design project, the production of PVC
nope
What is the process of polyethylene

What type of Engineering are you and what is your project???

nice👍
Can any one explain why nitrogen gas used in this process.
Very interesting
😍😍😍
Супер! Только что это?

Q. A. Albani.
Which technology is this?
It seems to be "Novolen" - copolymerizaton of ethylene and propylene in gas phase
Bad
