oh wow, I loveee the subtle contrast. It's dark and moody, but light and airy, like the architect said. Yet, it's not a cold or stark contrast. There's a warmth to it, and it effortlessly blends together. It's really beautiful. Truly a theatre overlooking that stunning office view.
The framing of the view by that enclosed terrace is extraordinary - the feeling of shelter and enclosure adds to view in a way I wouldn't expect. The colour and material palettes are masterful- the whole home feels deeply connected to the surrounds despite its enormous size and the obvious complexities of the construction on such a steep site. Thanks so much for sharing it with us.
Jaw dropping! Incredible. Stunning. This is one destined for greatness. And will be used countless times in film and TV. Thank you for sharing. And an in-depth appraisal of design and materials.
I love the sculpted look from the outside and inside of the house - those curves on the exterior and the unique terrace to the spiral staircase. And it uses dark timer and dark tiles on the exterior to create a beautiful contrast with the natural oak flooring. I've seen this look before but this one just nails the contrasts and saturation in my view.
Seeing that beautiful staircase with the piano and strings playing made me emotional! 😂 What a beautiful piece of artwork that somebody gets the privilege of calling as their home!
Beautiful part of Wellington, worked on many of the home's around the eastern bays there, back in the 70s be great to go back, this home is just beautiful,
Bravo pour cette magnifique réalisation Nous commençons fortement à imaginer de quitter définitivement la France pour revivre dans un pays où les réalisations modernes Se confondent avec l’environnement Magnifique
Congratulation to the architect. Nice concept, andthe project seems to me very well done , very solid and beautiful. Congratulations also for the constructor. Very pleasant to watch these video
Beautiful and very interesting design. I'll always applaud houses that have curved surfaces instead of the typical sharp 90º everywhere. I loved the grass borders on the ground at 4:51. The frontal shots make the exterior of the house to look like a yacht. Very cool.
beautifull home. beautiful artworks. love to know who some of the artists are???? especially to photographic piece. architect and builders did an awesome job
Love this channel! *Seriously.* But a note to the producers: The architects’ use of the word “materiality” (instead of “materials”) is laughable. It’s a concept that they inherited from contemporary critical theory-only their use of the word doesn’t seem so much contemporary as a faintly embarrassing mis-usage. The architects in this series do better when they either speak plainly, or (as the one in this video does) use their terms of art in an evocative way. / Lovely videos!

Fab house and a simple description from the architect. Not like the nonsense spouted in most TLP videos.

Really beautifully filmed, and a stunning home i'm completely captivated.
Wow amazing project, not only the architecture but also the interior design. Well done and best vibes from Miami, Florida.
When an architect can describe the location in an artistic way, the watch is worth while.
That’s a beautiful house. The furniture as well makes such a specific statement to the house as a whole
One of my favorits on the channel!
Glad to hear it!
Очень красиво, очень уютно, гармония жить в таком доме счастье

A stylish home but that sloped roofline and hence ceiling seems to to obstruct the vista from the uppermost floor.
Wow
Very cool idea. Beautiful.
But I have to wonder what the neighbors think about rich people literally looking down on them.
집 신기하다
One might think the ramped driveway to be a bit impractical, but remember: the servants will take care of it when it's icy.
