I watched today Kannur Squad. First half is slow but the second half is mind blowing. Mammootty sir acting was killing. The climax scene was terrific. I remembered Karthi's Theeran movie . Overall Kannur Squad was a must watch movie .
It's a good entertaining police procedural film based on real life Squad working in Kerala police. 2nd half is just brilliant. Quite different and unique from typical police procedural films.
I have a suggestion. If possible you should do a short series of episodes listing all the good movies you've watched in a year n release it around Christmas. Some of us get lonely around New years without family. It'll be nice to binge watch good movies from different languages.
In original Malayalam version Mammootty's character cant speak hindi and getting help from the police man joined them from UP , he speak English and that police translate it to Hindi. How can this situation will be handled in Hindi dubbed version as mammotty may be speaking hindi already as it is Hindi dubbed version 😅😅
Watch on a big screen or TV, as the cinematography is spectacular for a crime investigation movie. Hindi dubbing was bad, i felt the person doing the voice was too docile for Mammotty.
Theeran is good but not like this. Theeran is more about one person and made like a masala movie with romantic angle and item song, but kannur squad is about teamwork and each character is given importance showing true emotions and hardships faced by normal police officers.
Spoiler alert; for me the movie felt stretched once the criminals are known the motive is known it takes too long to catch them . Specially the starting suicide case hardly takes 15 min to solve .
