The red soviet player is a perfect example of someone encountering a brick wall then repeatedly attempting to bash it down on their own with their bare hands. No going around, no bringing some kind of support for your fists. Just brute force in the most basic sense with only one form of attack
Yeah, Hans is lucky that the bottom VP was facing resistance only from that incompetent player. If the Allies from the top went there, that VP would have been lost in no time.
To be fair he did some help from orange with the TDs, and allies had both top and middle vps for a lot of the game. Red soviet just had to keep hans occupied.

At the beginning of the game you couldn't know if your ennemies would have a lot of tank destroyer, but you could see the Map. So why was the tiger commandant better than the one with the elefant tank destroyer? Sorry for my bad english ^^'

@helpinghans I never see you activate the forward observation post commander ability on your half-tracks, why not? You've got them built and sitting there. Couldn't they be helping you to see where the enemy is while you use them as field hospitals?
Interesting observation, I actually use that ability alot but I think Hans rather have it mobile to quickly reinforce squads on the move. Even if the cooldown isn't that long, I think with a very proactive RTS player with high APM like Hans it's better for him to avoid abilities like these that promote more 'idle' gameplay which is how I usually do because I'm nowhere as good as Hans or any other better RTS player. Or idk maybe I'm wrong and Hans has another reason or he just simply forgot about it lol

Soviets have at least 3 uncovered flanks where he could roll his Tiger + Panzer4 + a couple of support troops and take them all out in a couple of minutes with minimal resistance. Instead he's sitting around on his tiny island and retreats the entire army when he sees anything a little more challenging than a single conscript unit. And then orders his teammates to attack that defense position from the worst possible angle while he has the best possible flank exposed to him just 30 feet away from his idle army.

he is a defensive player and never tries to go on the offence and take extra territory or cut off territory. Not every player uses his tactics and he acts as if his style of playing is the only way and the right way. Look at one of my first videos i made, straight trash noob play. I would bet 500 dollars i could mop him in a 1v1. I got the money right now and if he wishes he can setup a game

Claiming the axis have more versatility than the allies is a falsehood. Ignoring the fact that they have objectively less factions and thus have less unit selection by default, their expensive unit reinforce cost and higher fuel prices means they are forced to specialise much more than the allied faction, especially Soviets and USF.
You must be a 4 vs 4 player... both factions have good and bad. the balance is not perfect but it is bad either. play more 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2 and it will help you understand the strength of each faction. 4 vs 4 is too casual it is not a good showcase of the factions.

Axis have way too many tools at their disposal. COH2 is not balanced for team games. Very easy to dominate with axis with semi competent players.
