"I want to be remembered as someone who wrote some good songs, said some daft things, did some daft things, wore good shoes, supported a crap football team, and done it" Noel Gallagher
re: "I can play guitar better than Bonehead". There's a comment from someone who seems to understand very little about music. Bonehead was the rhythm guitarist of the band, his role is not shine as some brilliant guitarist; there's only one way to play a barre chord, or a power chord. You'd have to be with him on rehearsals and recordings to get an idea of how good or mediocre guitarist he is. Watch that documentary about DM, where Noel says he's glad Bonehead was there to pick out the basic chords of Noel's melodies, which he himself was clueless about. My guess is he's a competent guitar player, and musician.
The Jam, Oasis, The Stone Roses, The Smiths. They all get the recognition they deserve, especially The Smiths. But The La's is still somewhat neglected. It's a shame because they're perhaps the greatest of them all. I know that kind'a sounds far-fetched, but once you get into that band, you'll know what I'm talking about.
Its got Scott McLeod playing bass so does that make it the American tour before Earls Court? Probably not if it was on The Ozone. Maybe a warm-up somewhere in the UK. It's not Earls Court. Remembered this programme, a studio light fell on her head at the end.
Ye i echo all the comments! This is an absolute class video! Noel is the coolest man in the world......then and now! Oasis were the greatest. Thanks for the memories boys
at the time, 16-year old me thought what a cynical marketing ploy, pitting Oasis and Blur against each other. We're all just fodder for the capitalists. Little did I realise that time was the most free, most alive, most un-dicated to I would ever be.
Bonehead must be the luckiest guitarist in the history of the world. Don't get me wrong I would not mind swapping bank accounts with him and after all he was in Oasis, but damn I can play guitar better than him standing on my head.
blur vs oasis?? oh cmon there is no competition there whatsoever. OASIS by a mile!!!!!
When is he wrong?
When I'm right.
Best quote of the last two decades
The kids these days drooling over Liam saying how good he is now.
He was fucking brilliant live back in that day. Wow.

***** Bonehead could barely play the guitar; he was a bonehead.
One of the tightest, most reliable rhythm guitarists in Brit-rock history lol If anyone, Guig's was a hopeless case.
Beeswax, like i dont think there was ever too much doubt about his ability, i think it was more Guigs who couldnt play very well.
Bonehead was the core and soul of Oasis.
Liam winding Damon Albarn up about Justine is hilarious
They really lived it didn't they?!
Good on em.
When Is Noel Wrong?
