yeah. I had so much fun with the prologue demo. Played through it multiple times for different strategies. I don't know what makes it so good, the pacing, rewards and decisions just felt right.
Hey @SplatterCatGaming i'd just like to say i think the dedicated work on reviewing and curating such a vast collection of indie games is quite a noble task. it helps both consumers find alternate and creative content and creators get a fair platform to showcase their product. keep up the awesome work.
What's up, voice of Slen and the people's rep here. Thanks for the playthrough. Darko and his team at Entertainment forge have put a lot of heart into this so I'm happy to see it get love.
hey, i do not often write comments, unless i feel i have to. And i must say. im watching your videos for quite some time, and picked up several games because of your reviews. I LOVE your positive attitude towards new indie games, even if they are flawed. And your constructive critics. Game devs SHOULD watch your game reviews, because the ideas you give are not only creative but certainly helpfull, and i agree with most of them. The Game would indeed get better and gain more depth if they'd follow your advice here. very promising game. another one on my wishlist. Keep up the good work, and the videos coming.
Dude I like your videos but I feel like ya missed out on a Lotta stuff with this one... Like for example those alternate dialog ue options sometimes let you do other things... Like that one mission where the bandits bashed your skill in, if you chose to talk about their music you could unlock the option to fight the guards and turn the bandits into a band that would go into a world tour and provide you a monthly income.
Playing gladiator guild manager after watching you play and ive come across a knight called "SplatterCat The Anvil" unfortunately you a heavy smoker and lose 40% agility when you start the battle so i wont be hiring you hahaha but awesome to see your name in there, unsure if ur aware
I hope there'll eventually be a full range of diverse classes. I imagine the mages do the AoE attacks, but I'm hoping for a druid that buffs your animals or summons new ones; a necromancer that summons undead and leeches life; a bard that buffs the party, and debuffs (maybe confuses) the enemy, but is otherwise useless; and similar stuff.
You showcase tonnes of good and interesting games - but too often they can be a bit samey. I've always like the idea of a medieval sports/management game and between showing this and domina I'm quite excited someone may make the game I want. When Pyre came out that was prob one of the closest things i'd envisioned and with an awesome story to boot, but would love that crossed with football manager :D aha. Blood bowl should have been close to what I wanted but always felt too limited by just being American Football tactics.
From what I see starting with 2 zirkers then changing them out for knights and a ranger at most two makes the start much easier. Rangers are just really weak at low levels and zirkers sorta drop off it feels like.
