I'm a delivery driver at this moment and I've noticed recently that my ears hurts wearing mask during this pandemic... I was having hard time because of it . Thank you for such a spot on advice on this matter. BTW , when I get cysts I know where to stop by !! Thank you !👍

I've also been using a couple of paperclips to attach the two loops & then I can stretch it around my head. Downside, I have short hair, but it can still pull on your hair... still better than achy ears. I still have to work (essential), so this is 10 hrs of mask wearing.

I just found a podcast talking how to protect yourself from Corona Virus. I highly recommend watching, Dr Daniels covers information about Corona virus that other doctors forgot about it or thought its not important. it.th-cam.com/video/pQpiyB_eEBM/w-d-xo.html Dr Daniels is Harvard, Penn Medical school and Wharton business school graduate with 35 y of medical experience.

Great idea! I really like the purple mask it's very stylish. Thank you Dr. Lee! My daughter & I were at her Dr's. office last week. He literally scolded us for wearing masks. "Masks are not going to provide any protection against contracting any virus. Clinics in Dallas have been shut down because their staff wears masks. They are only to be used for firefighters, first responders, etc.) Meanwhile, his entire staff was wearing masks & gloves! I appreciate this video greatly. (My daughter has asthma.)

The world health organisation have stated if you are healthy wearing a mask if of NO USE and makes the worldwide SHORTAGE of masks WORSE! You should ONLY wear a mask if you are sick (in which case stay home!), or directly caring for someone who is sick with COVID-19. So your doctor is right and doctor SL is WRONG! At this stage the WHO are still pleading with people not to use masks unnecessary as there is a worldwide SHORTAGE and frontline health workers and emergency services personnel are having trouble getting supplies. I'm a volunteer firefighter in Australia and we are having trouble getting P2 masks to use when fighting fires! No other type of disposable mask is good enough for this purpose. I do not want to inhale toxic smoke and risk my life because a bunch of paranoid fools ignored the world health organisation and went out panic buying masks! P2 masks are the only type that should be worn by people infected with COVID-19 or those caring for those infected. Basic surgical masks or material masks are of no use and won't do anything, except MAYBE remind you not to touch your face, but in the majority of cases I've seen out in public, people are constantly touching the mask readjusting it, thereby contaminating the mask with anything they've touched, thereby inhaling those germs! Epic FAIL!

If you have long hair and a small face like me, try putting your hair up and then pulling the ear loops back and around your pony tail for a tight and more comfortable fit! (Depends on the mask potentially, I've found the loops are rather stretchy with most though)

The world health organisation states there is a worldwide SHORTAGE of masks and not to use them unless you are sick or directly caring for someone who is sick with COVID-19 or you're taking precious supplies away from frontline health care workers and emergency services personnel. A mask will not prevent you from catching COVID-19, they prevent people with the disease from speeding their respiratory droplets when they speak, cough or sneeze. If masks prevented you from catching it, then why are health workers who are in full PPE still catching it? Listen to the world health organisation not some TH-cam famous dermatologist! Don't make the worldwide shortage of masks worse by being paranoid and selfish please!

    • @VintageToiletsRock

I wore full mask and gloves in the beginning of the crisis and people probably thought I was loco... but look now. Don't go hoarding masks, I'm using masks and gloves I bought in 2019 and haven't bought anything in 2020. Only use them when you are out in public for necessary errands.

i agree with everything you have said! Fantastic idea!! I worked as a Respiratory therapist in a hospital in Long Island NY and it is befuddling to me how people don't take it seriously to this day!! We have seen an exponential increase in cases and very serious cases where people need ventilators to breathe and the outcomes are not good. Take preventive measures and think of others!! We have become a very self centered society and this is an opportunity to do what really counts and come together. Material things come and go but the quality of a life where one helps others, is immeasurable. Please heed the precautions and be safe!! Thanks Dr. Lee for using your platform to educate! !

We have an immune compromised infant and have been pushing for this to become public policy in Canada, where unfortunately we are still way behind on the public health front. People need to make a total cultural change when it comes to masks; “My mask protects you, and your mask protects me.” Masks=kindness💜 Yay for explaining actionable kindness that could save a neighbor, friend, or family members life.

I have a small request. If you get the time it would mean a lot to me and so many others if you could repost the Mr Wilson videos.
I've been trying to feed my blackhead cravings with his story, but most of the videos / links in the playlist are dead.
Or maybe I am not allowed to see the videos any more since I live in Denmark and sometimes my access is blocked due to regional restrictions :(
Wishing you and your family a wonderful easter :D

Very cool advice!! Thanks a zillion. I know many many people, my daughter included, hate to wear the mask because of the ear pain. This fix-it trick is excellent!!!!! You've released it at the absolutely perfect time.
As with everyone I meet, speak to, and do what I can to help where I can, I hope you and yours,as well as everyone else's people stay safe and well. Just a note of thanks for taking the time to release so many beautiful videos. They work wonders at making our minds veer away, at least for a little while, from some of the seriousness the collective world needs a bit of a break from.
