The important thing here is that a few individuals felt hurt by what they saw was inappropriate behaviour, Chugga apologised, stated that he did not intent to harm, and started seeing professional help so that he doesn’t unintentionally harm others in the future

Modern Raikou: scald, extrasensory, aura sphere
On one hand, it's pretty cool to see Pokemon get some much-needed coverage with good moves.
But on the other, holy SHIT that's scary, ha ha. Scald in particular, I don't play Pokemon competitively, but Cheren constantly inflicting burns with his Simipour's Scald in an old Black Nuzlocke I did gave me a healthy fear of that move.
One move was all it took. Granted the move was Scald but it's enough.
I did not know that Raikou could learn Scald. Neat.

Hey Chuggaa, really glad to see that you're back. I just want you to know that your content has always made me feel at home, I've been watching your content and grew up with you since the days of Super Mario Sunshine and Okami. I thank you for getting me into video games in general, into Nintendo, and especially into Xenoblade which is now my favorite series of all time. (Here's to hoping you make a Xenoblade 3 let's play one day, it's become my favorite game of all time and in my opinion surpasses the other two games!)
Since I was a boy in school, I'd come back excited to watch a new video on whatever series you did. Then in high school I did the same, and even as I started working my dead end job or while in university; every time I'd be happy to see my favorite content creator uploaded a new addition to the current series.
Thank you Emile for being with me throughout it all, through the thick and thin of my life, through the trauma, through the heartache, through everything in between; and helping me find a place of comfort/solitude. I hope there will be many more years to come!

Everything you wrote is almost exactly my experience. I was 7 when I first started watching Emile,. Specicifically the Pikmin and Super Mario Sunshine LP. Hell, his pikmin lets plays got me into Pikmin in the first place.
I'm 21 now. In university, working, and adulting, but still watching Emile to this day. I'm so happy he's back after the stuff he's been through.

I got a dog 2 months before the first episode of this series in 2009. You just finished this series today in 2024. That same dog still lives on. Such a strange thing to think about. Damn, seeing those bios took me back. I started watching the channel around 2009-2010 and Fire Red was one of the first series I saw.
I remember when I finally caught Latias. My school used to have Parent/Teacher meetings on certain Thursday nights. I remember driving back home when it was dark and I was playing my SP. I had been chasing her down and I finally encountered her. I threw the last premier ball I had at her and it worked. I didn’t think it would work but it did. I remember we also stopped at Walgreens and I was running around all excited
When I finally caught Latios, I legit stood up off the couch and cried "I am victorious!" because it was the first video game thing I ever managed to do before my brother. I then proceeded to name my Latios "Victorious" and have stuck to that every time I got one since then.

Man I remember your platinum playthrough and how painful it was for you to catch the legendary birds. Big respect to any kids growing up with these games having the patience for getting these legendary Pokemon.

I completely missed the Wind Waker video and was blindsided by this appearing in my recommended, it's lovely to hear from you again, Emile.
On a more personal note, gen 3 is really special to me seeing as a local dub of it's anime episodes and a collectible sticker album of all it's new pokemon were not only my first exposures to the franchise but also some of my earliest memories of passionately caring about a piece of media in general, so seeing your return with a video on this generation in particular is very impactful to me.

Worst part about the Roar Glitch is that it punishes you for thinking outside the box. Mean Look seems like the perfect counter for an opponent that runs away constantly but most roamers already have Roar or Teleport. Then this glitch makes Roar *worse* than running away.

It gave him the time to work on stuff like this that he likely wouldn't have had if he went into the next LP as planned months ago. Probably helps him ease back into the swing of things, too! Imagine taking a 6-month break from work, it'd feel weird when you finally came back.

Good ARCEUS, it feels like Legendaries were Handled Abyssmally and Gen 3.
-The Bird Trio was Fine, other than Moltres not being able to make up it's damn mind on where to to park (going from Victory Road in RBY to Mt. Ember on the Sevii Islands in FRLG), but you can also get them by Stealing them from Greevil in Gale of Darkness.
-Mewtwo was Still in Cerulean Cave, but you just now needed to also do the Sevii Islands stuff in the Post game to access it.
-Mew, Celebi, Jirachi and Deoxys needed special events, to the surpise of Nobody being Mythicals.
-Lugia and Ho-Oh needed either a Special event or the Orre Games, although in Ho-Oh's case, hope you're ready for a Gauntlet.
-The Weather Trio was at least Straightforward and you can get all 3 in Emerald, Thank Arceus who didn't exist at this point in the Franchise's history.
-The Regi Trio, I have Personal Beef with because it's THE Definition of "Guide Dang it". Once you know what to do, and thankfully thanks to the Modern Internet, it's not a Problem nowadays, but good luck figuring it out without said Guide (Especially since they altered the Puzzles a bit from Ruby and Sapphire to Emerald, which can throw some people off if they first got them in RS).
-and THEN There's the Beasts and the Lati Twins. If you didn't have the Eon Ticket, playing Emerald Twice was your best bet, and for the Beasts, like you said, just save yourself the Headache and play Colosseum.
Shit like this is why I won't fault anyone for hacking the older games for completion's sake (Especially since going back to do so Legitimately is next to Impossible otherwise thanks to the passage of time).

Every pokemon playthrough you've done has taught me everything I now know today! You are better than any poketuber out there (no offense to them) and I can't thank you enough for all you've taught us! I am so glad to see you back Emile. I've been watching your LPs since, well, your Fire Red LP when it was still in it's early days and you've been one of my favourite TH-camrs ever since.
