IF this was a solo version was listed back when Off The Wall was being made, it definitely would have been a hit! Mind you, the bridge alone from Wondering Who in my opinion, is where you start seeing the seeds be planted. A bit more lyrics to this, and it would have been the perfect track for Off The Wall hands down!
This came after Off the Wall though and has a post-disco sound which is more in line with Thriller. That same synth-heavy, electronic sound is found in WBSS, Baby Be Mine and PYT.
The best Jacksons album. Great work putting this together. Fantastic song from a fantastic album. The CD remaster from 2008 is one great sounding remaster of a classic album. Destiny got the same treatment and really shines too.

I don't like that they edited Jackie's vocals out. I know Michael was one of the greatest but I always liked when he worked with his brothers. Triumph was their best album collectively.

This was a JACKSONS song, not a Michael Jackson song . Mike got the lion's share of attention but Jackie can't even get a little shine on his own song. Disrespectful, IMO.

The song was too long to add Mike’s part for the album so they cut it.
