    As a huge fellow Packout fan I cant wait to see what you come up with for the Packout "shells!" Some of my faves are tool holders for specific jobs I'm often helping friends out with (electrical troubleshooting, plumbing installation, sprinkler tools, etc), self contained water proof first aid kits, purpose kits for you (like the ramset kit w/ small luggage lock, etc.) cant wait!!

      Yes, love them! They store all my construction tools and about a third are empty. I've been doing side jobs lately and load up quickly then throw them in my truck.

    Its great to have the organization going. Having the little containers looks handy.

    I prefer a cabinet that holds the packouts in individual cubbies so you can take whatever packout you need to the workbench. I group the items in each organizer according to the job, like on for pocket holes, one for rivets, drywall anchors, etc. I can then have all the different sizes right at hand without having to guess. That’s really helpful when doing something outside the shop.

      100% and good point Sarit. I almost went this route actually but I hardly ever do anything outside the shop and really didn't want to have to deal with opening the lids each time. If your doing site work frequently then hands down your preference is the better option.

    "Sometimes you just don't want to sand" should never be spoken, right? I mean everyone loves sanding. It is teh best part of woodworking. NOT!!! good video. Subscribed. I added this to our December playlist.

    I wouldn't worry too much about the quantity of videos being released. I know it's tough and god knows I'd love to crank out more but I always try and make my next video better than my last, and that definitely takes time. My philosophy is to make the best video I can, every time, and YT will take care of the rest. I dunno if that's right or wrong, but the ball is slowly gaining inertia. You definitely got a good thing going.

      Thanks Scott. Sounds like great advice and something I need to remind myself of BUT I still want more videos from you! I'm expecting 5 videos over your Christmas break!

    I think the only reason I was able to post weekly videos for as long as I did was because I recorded projects for a whole year before I started uploading them. Now I find every 2 weeks to be much more manageable. Gives a nice balance of backlog and current work.
    Your shop setup is definitely coming together though, looks good!

    You have a lot of options for cameras. Take a look at the Rode Wireless Go lavs too. I have the first version and it seems like everyone uses them. Super easy to use and haven’t had any issues yet.

    Another great video, could have used some door content.😉
    Serious question, the sinks is proud of the cabinet tops, what's the reasoning? I would have done it flush, but not sure that is the best idea.

    • @BlakePizzey
      @BlakePizzey  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good Q. These laundry/tub style sinks are typically stand alone (4 little legs) or mounted from above if installed within a counter top. I haven't been able to find any under mount big tub sinks. There might be some pricey ones put there. But then I would have had to worry about water proofing the edge of the counter too...

    The packout drawers is where it's at. All those packout that you bought are absolete. They don't even make sense when you have they stacked at a work site. And it looks like you spend tons of money on those....

    • @BlakePizzey
      @BlakePizzey  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol well thanks for rubbing it in. I agree though, the drawers are much better.
