You got a good point Bigfoot. I guess us Hoop fans take for granted that everybody watching is a hardcore hoops fan and intimately knows the history and timeline. That ain’t the case, my Mom, bless her heart, tries to keep up with what my brother and I watch, so I guess when she calls us, she can be cool and have a shared interest to talk about! Lol
However the timeline is what throws her into a frustrated mess! Lol.

I own all the MJ documentaries in a boxed set called “Ultimate Jordan”. It includes 5 documentaries and full recordings of MJ’s most iconic games.
“The Last Dance” has shown more of who MJ is behind the curtain than any other doc before it. IMO it only made MJ more legendary.
I hate it when somebody is dropping inside stuff and is rolling and the interviewers interrupt with the question. Just wait til he has finished.
I am so thankful this series is living up to the hype and my personal expectations. Everyone I have discussed this docu-series with have had only positive things to say after the first 6 parts. Jason Hehir and his team have done a wonderful job on this series. They only had one chance to knock it out of the park and that's what they're doing! Really looking forward to the remaining 4 episodes! Cheers everyone reading this!

Like a lot of you that read this, I grew up watching him and the Bulls. I had the shoes, the clothes, his ball cards.. never getting the chance to ever see him in person what would you say to him if you ever got the chance? I wouldn't ask for pictures or an autograph, simply just look at him and say thank you for being a HUGE part of my childhood that makes me wish every day that I could relive it just one more time.

In episode 6 of The Last Dance, between video time 37:03-37:04 you will see Jordan travelled in trying to pass by Dan Majarle. A travel occurs when the player lifts the pivot foot and then returns it to the floor before releasing the ball on a pass or a shot or a dribble. For instance, if a player receives a pass and jumps with both feet to attempt a shot and returns to floor without shooting, it is considered a travel. That's exactly what Jordan did and more. Jordan lifted both his foot and land them without dribbling plus he stepped forward with his right foot still not dribbling the ball. He did this many times during his career and what's worse, Kobe does the same thing when they spin around the other player from stationary position.

Re: Jordan's "controversial" gambling - Jordan is saying the exact same thing that he said back in the 90's. "I don't have a gambling problem, but I am addicted to competition." I feel like a lot of the hoopla around the docu-series is because it's been a while, and anyone born after 1985 (including the filmmaker) is now finding out everything the rest of us already knew. More interesting is when Jordan throws ppl like Horace Grant and Isiah under the bus, 25 yrs later.
