112 points in Games 1 and 2 against a 67-win Celtics team loaded with HoFers, and he didn't attempt a single 3-pointer. That is hard to fathom in today's 3-point crazed league.

Met in the past people who are obsessive competitive and they care completely only for themselves.

You Gen Millennials and Gen Z fanboys kill me with trying to use this "expansion" argument against MJ. But you have NO IDEA what you're talkin' about.
Because for starters, when MIA, CHA, ORL all came into the league, it was the Lakers and Pistons who were winning titles at that time.
But y'all never try to lay the "expansion" argument at their respective front doors though.
By the time that MJ and the Bulls ascended to the championship, ALL of those expansion teams (save for MIN) were playoff teams. So that argument's out the window!
And if you're trying to define 1989-95 as “the expansion era”, then what are calling 2008-16, considering that league's avg’s from that time, were the EXACT SAME as they were from 1989-95?!!
How exactly did the '89 expansion draft benefit the top tier teams vs the weaker ones?
      ANSWER: it didn’t!
All the '89 "expansion draft" did was allow teams to shed their 10th-12th bench guys, and/or, guys who were NO LONGER in their primes.
FACT #1: from 1991-95 there were 0 sub-20 win teams in the East. And only 1 in the East each year from 1996-98.
FACT #2: there were ONLY a total of "6" sub-20 win teams in the league during the '97 and '98 seasons.
5 of 'em were in the West, with ONLY 1 being in the East!
So this didn't benefit MJ's plight in coming out the East during the playoffs at all!
And because more teams won 50-60 games in the 90s, obviously the lower teams will have more losses. However, the only anomaly is 1998.
Which was caused PRIMARILY by Western teams!
You guys need to educate yourselves...SMH

ok cmon guys. you reaching now. I see a graboid effect going on here. you guys think he was methodically planning on doing any of this. He didn't, all he did was just shut up and dribbled and it made him a billionaire in the long run. He just played and he was finally able to win the last half of his Bulls career. No tricks, no planning, just give me the ball and I'll get the W. The W's didn't come until Pippen hit his prime. MJ legacy becoming a fish story. Don't disrespect his game like that.
